So because you're pregnant, if the H1N1 vaccine (injection form) doesn't become available soon, can you have the pneumonia vaccine? I'm asking because at least if you get a case of the flu it may not progress as aggressively than if you had no vaccine of anykind. It would be better than having NO vaccine at all.

My husband & I are dressing up, it's out daughter's b-day party tomorrow in the afternoon so she really wanted us to! We're gonna be Jack & Sally from Nighmare Before Christmas. I hope I don't scare my baby who is 7 months old!

So if pneumonia can be such a serious complication of H1N1, I wonder why they are not pushing the pneumonia vaccine now along with H1N1? I'd rather have a pneumonia vaccine that has been around a while than an H1N1 vaccine that was rushed into production and *may* have serious side effects. I wonder if kids can have the pneumonia vaccine....

Remember West Nile Virus? Everyone that got a mosquito bite thought they were going to die because the media scared them into thinking they would. And don't forget Bird Flu, "beware of birds dropping out of the sky and if you get anywhere near a dead bird you might die too!" I think the media is in cahoots (sp) with the drug companies or something. My children's pediatrician even said the media is blowing H1N1 way out of proportion and it's not as bad as they would like us to believe. Some people choose to believe their hype...I do not!

No, not to school. I'm sure that even if a parent allowed their child to wear it, the school probably would not. It could be taken out of context and turned into something sexual. They'd probably be sent home in a heartbeat or ask that a change of clothes be brought for the child.

I *tried* to save a puzzle that My kids put together. It turned out to be a disaster (I am usually a crafty person but I make hairbows and this was not up my alley) and so I had to throw it away! How did you do this? I'd love to decorate their playroom with puzzles they've done.

They're easy to make!! I always put a pork roast in the crock pot til it's falling apart, put it on a potato and then smother it w/ bbq sauce, cheese & ranch. Much cheaper than going out! Oh, I might need to make these tonight!!

This is so true!! And I believe men are the "weaker sex"! My husband just had laser vision correction surgery in ONE eye (had to have them done seperately b/c he had something other than LASIK) You would think he's DYING! I have had 4 c-sections and was taking care of a houseful of kids and entertaining his parents, who insisited on being here AS SOON as we got home from the hospital each time and coped better than he has with his lil ol eye surgery!

Ditto the sauce at the bottom of the pan and the cheeses...no substitutes for Ricotta & Romano. I also add fresh mushrooms and spinach and use Italian sausage instead of ground beef, it adds much more flavor. I'm craving lasagna now!!!

I am buying my daughter (who will be 8 tomorrow) tickets to see The Rockettes at the Fabulous Fox!! It's been ages since I've been there. Does anyone know how the balcony seats are? Can you see the stage or will we be straining to see the whole time? I really want her to have an amazing time and if I have to pay a little more for floor seats I will. I don't want her to be dissappointed if we sit in the balcony and she can't see.

I think this year we are going to make....reservations! My family is pretty big (20-25 depending on if certain couples are together or separated at the time!) I think we'll all go somewhere to eat as a family and I'll cook for my husband & kids and my sweet mom and grandmother. I always make turkey, last year we deep fried one and roasted another, stuffing, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, cranberries, rolls and lots of desserts including my peanut butter pie....Whew, I'm hungry now!!
