the only team in the south subregion to win was Lithia over Osborne. I was surprised by that. Osborne has had a much better season taking Pope and Kell down to the wire, and Lithia was 0-9!

Pope and East would not face each other again unless both made it deep into the playoffs(championship game I believe). All the play in games take place at the north teams fields this year, since all were at the souths last year. So East, along with Pope, Kell, and Sprayberry are at home Friday night. Even though their games are not for the play offs, North and Hiram are also at home Friday night.

South will finish 2nd after the tiebreaker, and will have a play in vs. 8-2 Kell at Kell. I BELIEVE it will be : 1. Pope vs. 4. Alexander 2. East vs. 3. Villa Rica 3. Kell vs. 2. South 4. Sprayberry vs. 1. CH Unless something strange happens, I look for the north subregion to sweep the south again this year

Carmike in Cartersville is very reasonable in admission. Hold on to your hat if you dont want to pay nearly nine bucks for a large popcorn! Very high concessions. NCG would be great!! Best by far!!

You are right at the times he threw early in the downs, but when you get to 3rd and 4th and long, got to change things up. Our running game wasnt getting a lot done late. I think everyone in the stadium knew a sweep was coming on 4th and long, and we were right. A play we didnt use enough was the quick pops up the middle. That fullback dive works so well, and we used it twice tonight, maybe three. Got to pound the middle-Cant agree more with you on that one!! I think the main issue tonight was defense. Just not Raider football at all!

Pope just beat up on us tonight. We couldnt tackle or cover anyone on defense. Pope is a one man show, and when you dont stop him, he will make you look bad. Offense looked good on occasion, just not solid. Coaching, which is usually East strong suit, was awful tonight. Offense consisted mainly of sweep left and sweep right. On 4th and 6 late in the game, what does he call?? Sweep right. Parris was doing good as a replacement QB, and should have been given a shot to make the first. You dont get 6 yards to often on a sweep, especially when the defense is sitting and waiting on it! Con
