  1. The 3 Godfathers has some great actors and is a good, though mostly unknown today, movie.
  2. I didn't live in Paulding back then but there was a Jiffy's Burgers on the 4 lane (Cobb Pkwy) up near the Big Chicken. It had a big sign with a guy in white chefs hat, if my memory is correct. There was also a Jiffy's Burgers on Atlanta Rd just south of Bolton Rd in Atlnata and I would think more around the area. They had smaller burgers. I think their slogan was "Good food in a Jiffy" ETA: I did a quick search and found this about Jiffy Burgers Jiffy Burger
  3. No problem, I had cereal. How was the food? ETA: Never mind, saw the reveiw.
  4. I hope you got the help you were looking for, cause I got nothing.
  5. I wouldn't consider mentioning a missing son whiny. My complaning about my ingrown toenail is whiny. I hope all goes well with your son. I have said and will say prayers for you, your son and your family. Thank you for the video.
  6. While I am no horse expert, I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express this week and that means that I can say without question or argument from anyone that Trigger was a horse.
  7. If you do not know who William S. Hart is, and you like westerns, you need to check him out. Oh, he is from the silent movie days.
  8. Great news! Did she still have her blue heels and her lime green harness on? Maybe she was out for a date and it went really well.
  9. Did you miss the easy part? That covers a lot of ugly.
  10. It would be easier for you to read the original post. If the link doesn't work, cause I am not to sure how to do that, the original post is still on page 1 of todays topics. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/297792-can-someone-please-link-me-to/page__view__getnewpost__fromsearch__1 ETA: The link works, I tried it, I am a techno geek!
  11. Doc Holliday was born in Griffin, GA; moved to Valdosta, GA, went to dental school in PA and practiced dentistry in Atlanta, before moving west for his TB. While he was known as a fast gun and a gambler, true historians have a hard time actually finding anyone he killed to make his reputation as a killer. He was an ornery type of fellow who did not suffer fools or insults lightly. No one is sure exactly how he and Wyatt Earp became friends, but Wyatt said that Doc saved his life, although Wyatt over the years gave differing accounts of how and where this live saving took place. A lot of
  12. You did better than I could. I found was totally lost trying to find something.
  13. I'm not sure, but I think Pubby just called me several more names.
  14. All the ones listed so far are great choices. Here are some you may not think about today, from the older movies; Randolph Scott, Tim Holt, Tom Mix, Rex Bell, Harry Carey Sr and Jr, Hoot Gibson, Sunset Carson, William S. Hart (who lived the old west), Buster Crabbe, Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams, Errol Flynn, Ray "Crash" Corrigan, Wild Bill Elliott, Chill Wills, Slim Pickens, Joel McCrea, Audie Murphy (a real hero) and many many more. Stonewall's list was good also. My pick and it is tought to pick one, is John Wayne. The Seachers is a must see for any one who likes westerns. (the last s
  15. I recommend the "do not call list". My being on the "do not call list" has worked very well for me since it started, with the exception of a company called Card Services. I have reported this company, and their many different phone numbers, several times over the past 2 years. If you google Card Services, you will see that they are scammers who have no respect for the "do not call list" or any law. Now when Card Services calls, I just blow an air horn into the phone or I hold phone over the toilet while flushing it or I lay the phone next to the TV and let them listen to whatever is on
  16. Those clackers were invented by a sadist. We all had them and outside of making a heck of a racket and bruising the heck out of ourselves, I am not sure what we found so fun. There is no way you could play like we did today. The lawsuites would fly. Back then when you went home and told your mother that little Joey hit you in the head with a stick, your mother said, I guess that will teach you. You father said, walk it off. (taught me that a dirt clod with a rock in it hurts Joey as much as a stick to my head) (oh yeh, Joey's mother said....I guess that will teach you) (Joey's fa
  17. Pubby called me a dolt in the MLK thread. Of course he was calling a lot of people dolts, but I was one of em. I had never been called a dolt before, been called a lot of things, but never a dolt, so I looked it up. DOLT Noun A stupid person. Synonyms fool - blockhead - dunce - simpleton - booby - loggerhead Not the worst I have been called. I am putting this word in my arsenal, I like it.
  18. A great song anytime, anywhere for anything. I don't think I was vertical long enough to run over anyone, fall on yes.
