    No Problem

I agree with the poster above. I 99% of the time say no problem because it really was no problem to do what ever it was that I did. It's more of an accurate response to the thank you than you're welcome.
  2. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/46308435/ns/local_news-cincinnati_oh/#.TzKJQVw9khg According to the link above her car was found in Over the Rhine in Cincinnati, that is a horrible neighborhood, and I would think if her car was found there, that there isn't going to be a happy ending to this story.
  3. In fairness the population of greater Atlanta is what 4 mil?, and Cincinnati is about 1 million? There's a lot less news happening there.
  4. I grew up in a suburb of Cincinnati, it's just like any other city, there are good parts and bad, I would be curious to see what neighborhood it was found in.
  5. I was paying a babysitter $80 a week for 8 to 6, but she was a neighbor, and she was looking for a little extra money to be able to stay at home with her daughter. When we were doing daycare we were paying $150 a week. We still use this daycare for hourly drop in, they charge $5 an hour for up to 4 hours at a time. Right now my husband is between jobs and he keeps her, or my mom will keep her, or we do the drop in at the daycare. However we have another one coming in 2 months and I don't know what we'll do when my husband goes back to work. Since that would put us at close to $300 a week for t
  6. I forgot about Uncle Bubbas, the couple of meals I've had there were great. I've never had their crab legs.
  7. I'm excited to see what will happen with that entire intersection as the hospital goes up. Speaking as someone that lives in a neighborhood right near there I hope it will help housing values with all the new jobs created.
  8. I've never really understood why a childrens consignment can't do well in Hiram. But everyone that opens closes. I'm guessing because of the Godwill and people doing garage sales. If I want kids consignment I drive to Kennesaw or Douglasville.
  9. I can't remember the name of it, but there is a little place just off to the right as you pass over the bridge to Tybee, they have a nice outdoor deck, I think it was a little hard to find unless your looking for it, but everyone down there can tell you how to get to it.
  10. The police will take a missing persons report after 24 hours if you are persisitent. BUT, all that does is place the person into a database, and if they come into contact with any law enforcement they are told someone is looking for them, they are not required to detain them or bring them back. If you are looking for an adult your best bet is to search for them yourself.
  11. I've flown Southwest from Birmingham to Louisville, and from Nashville to Las Vegas. Both flights were non-stop, but from my understanding if there is a stop you don't get off the plane, but the stop is very short. I think they are comparable to any other major airline, and the low cost makes them my choice. Glad they're coming to Atlanta. Not that I fly often.
  12. With my last pregnancy I was going once a week for the last 2 months, and then the last 2 weeks I had 2 appts (different docs) a week. I always tried to book the first or last appt of the day so as to not take too much time. They started giving me a hard time, but I didn't let it bother me, they can't fire me for going to the doctor.
  13. I would like to know when we are getting an actual grocery store in Hiram. My guess is never. I hate driving to the Kroger or Ingals in Dallas
  14. I promise you I know enough about what happened that night and what led up to it. Ive done my research.
  15. Possibly that was the only way that they were going to be able to make the changes that they wanted to make. And it was within the rules of how the council works, there was nothing illegal about it. They saw a need to make a change, and then went about making the change. They were elected (the two new council members did run contested) to make changes. You can go on thinking it's sinister or sly, my personal opinion is that it's good business, until I see further evidence that it wasn't.
  16. How can people not trust "current leadership"? Current leadership just got sworn in. And the measures taken at the meeting are saving the city money. Some people here have too much time on their hands, and watch to many conspiracy theory tv shows. I believe that those newly elected have Hiram's best interest at heart. I believe that they are motivated to do what is best for the homeowners and businesses of Hiram. As for the accusations against the police department in the few dealings I've had with them I have had no issue with them. Of course everyones experience is different. Just becaus
  17. Do you even know or have you ever met any of the people involved? What an ignorant thing to say.
  18. I still don't think trimming the city staff in order to save money is a bad thing. The city has steadily been spending more than it is taking it in. By combining tasks and having one person do them in place of two is good business. I appreciate someone taking a stand about how money is spent by the city. Hopefully going forward we will have a city council and mayor that makes good decisions on how to spend tax payers money.
  19. I've not tried Mia's wings, I'll have to try them. If I want wings I go to Taco Mac, to me they are hands down the best wings in the area, but I hate having to drive to Marietta or Douglasville to get them. I would love for a Taco Mac to open in Hiram, but I doubt that's in the cards. I noticed they closed their one on East West Connector in Austell.
  20. I think they meant that since he ran unopposed it doesn't really mean there were a ton of voters that wanted him there, it just means he was the only one to pick.
  21. I don't think that anyone is solely blaming Jack Paris for the amount of money that has been spent over the years, and I don't think you can solely blame the ex-mayor. Spending decisions are made by the city council and the Mayor. You can go back and look at who voted for what spending in the past. I do think the new council is being proactive in trimming city positions in a way to save some of that money that has been spent in the past. I hope this is a trend of balancing the budget and spending within the cities means. Streamlining city government is a good start. I hope that the new council
  22. I don't know that there's anything nefarious going on other than the new council members wanted to make some changes (which is what they were elected to do), and when those changes were voted on Jack didn't agree with it and stepped down. The meetings are open to the public, and this one was pretty well attended from what I understand.
  23. We do our commercial banking with BB&T, and the service there is great. Personal I bank with Regions, and I am about to switch as soon as I get the time to redo all my online bill pay.
  24. Hope you had a good experience at The Book Shelter! We took our daughter down for the tree lighting. I wish they would light it before 9, 9 is way past our little ones bed time. It'll be years before we actually see the lighting of the tree.
  25. Congrats, I'm due with my second in April too, but they'll only be about 16 months apart
