I like what my pediatrician does, they only allow you to book well visits within a week of the visit. Seems like that would cut down on forgotten appointments and no shows.

What Your Doctor Hasn't Told You About Vaccinations
kwood replied to pcolafl2002's topic in RECENT TOPICS
You know what, I think I just might stop vaccinating my kids. Thanks for your informative information....now shut up! -
The thing is these aren't my neighbors. These are people making so much noise on the road that I can hear it 1 MILE away in my neighborhood. Our neighbor has a loud truck, and he used to go in at 4:30 in the morning, the houses are close together so it would always wake me up. That didn't bother me because he can own whatever truck he wants, and the houses are close together. The idiot I'm complaining about in this post is making so much noise on a road that people a mile away can hear it. I can only imagine how fast he/she was going based on the sounds I heard. It didn't sound like a saf

At least I assume its on 278, for the second morning in a row while getting ready for work I can hear a crotch rocket going up and down 278, I suppose it might be on Bill Carruth. Its 6:30 in the am. There is no reason I should be able to hear your mode of transportation inside my house which is at least a mile away from either of these roads.

1. People who walk arounin a bubble with no regard for others. Like when I have something that I have to do that depends on you doing something first, and you take your sweet ass time getting it done which delays me. 2. People who go around preaching tolerance that actually have no tolerance for people different than them. 3. And cats

Get a sky box at Bryant Denny Stadium. Create scholarships at the University of Alabama, then buy a big house on Lake Tuscaloosa and a place on the Gulf coast. Then I'd spend the rest of my life trying to be a charitable as possible. It wouldn't take much to make me happy.

My link Despite mountains of evidence to the contrary, Blaylock maintains that vaccines cause Lou Gehrig's disease (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS, a disease of the nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary muscle movement), Parkinson's, and autism. 4 He puts forth these notions in books and for the politically conservative website Newsmax in a section called The Blaylock Wellness Report.* Despite the fact that the scientific evidence does not support his belief, Blaylock claims that giving children about two dozen vaccinations before they start school is dang

Anybody remember the missing child case?
kwood replied to Gipper Girl Rocks's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I remember when they did that update on the Today Show. They said something about the website not being a name change site anymore. I sure hope she is alive somewhere and safe. I can't image losing my child. -
Anybody remember the missing child case?

I remember that vividly. The baby kidnapped or killed was the same age as my oldest daughter. That girl would be 21 months right now. -
I agree by the time you get a divorce it can be years in the making. I know my first marriage was rocky for at least 3 years before I left, but it wasn't abbusive or horrible, we had just grown apart. So I felt like I had been seperated by the time I left. I remarried 7 months after my divorce was finalized. We've been married 4.5 years and have 2 kids. Its not perfect, but I made the right choice for me.

Im a sucker for reality Tv and watch very little series. The only series I watch are The Middle, and Modern Family. I watch The Big Bang Theory and How I met Your Mother in refund on TBS and WGN, but most my Tv viewing is done at 3am feedings. That's the only time I get the remote. Now that college football is getting ready to start my Saturdays will be wall to wall football Roll Tide!

I had a HORRIBLE allergic reaction to an antibiotic I took after having my second daughter. I had to go to the er for serum poisoning. But I wouldn't tell someone the shouldn't take that medication because my husband took the same thing for an ear infection and was perfectly fine.

Marietta obgyn affilliates Dr tagachian delivered both my girls. But I like all the doctors in the practice

So those of you that are anti vaccination have resorted to name calling and judgment. If you are so seccure in your feeling there is no need to do that. You can do what you wish for the health of your children. Just as I should be able to protect my child the way I want to. The fact is that I know probably hundreds of adults and children who have been vaccinated and they are completely healthy. Everyone seems to want to skim over the fact that millions of healthy children have been vaccinated. Maybe the problems these children face have nothing to do with vaccines maybe some kids just are auti

That's rediculous for hundreds of years the infant mortality rate was pretty high and people didn't live past 50. You want to go back to that?

I have a 21 month old and a 4 month old. They give me a detailed sheet at every well visit with a vaccination as to what is being vaccinated for, and what to look for. I guess you will have to ask someone who was alive the last time these diseases were prevalent.
