  1. Thanks - I typed that first, then I changed it! I knew I was right the first time. Thanks!
  2. Probably chicken noodle soup again. MrB and I have been sick for the last two days. As a side note: I made Mommy2boys (i think is her name - sorry if that's wrong) stromboli for dinner on Tuesday night from when she posted it a couple of days ago. It was fabulous! So easy, too. It's my husbands new favorite meal. He was suprised I could make it and wanted to know where I learned how to do it. Of course I didn't tell him how easy it was! So thank you!!
  3. This time of year Kroger in Hiram has the larger size bottles of the Kroger brand santiter for cheap. I don't know if they do right now or not though. I would check there, Big Lots and the Dollar General.
  4. Just my first name it's Marie Guthrie First & last its Irene Dickens
  5. Oh - sorry. I thought you were looking for the name of the manufacturer. Sorry I couldn't be of any help!
  6. This thread is making me crave some sweet stuff now... between this and the dinner thread I think my stomach is eating itself I am so hungry!
  7. YES - that was who posted it. I couldn't remember for the life of me. I think I am going to add some banana peppers from the garden, though. They look so good and easy.
  8. I think I am going to make the stromboli recipe someone posted on here not too long ago. If not: pork chops, fresh green beans, roasted red potatoes.
  9. These look yummy... I think I will make some myself: Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup white sugar 1 egg DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Combine ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Let cool. Recipe doesn't make very many, so you could double recipe as you desire.
  10. Are you trying to figure out the manufacturer's name? The only one I can think of is Ball, but I will ask my mom.
  11. Yep! I am right there with you! I drove to work with the heat on this morning, and wore a sweater to work. I am a hot weather person. BUT, I love it when it's in the afternoon and I have the windows open, chili cooking on the stove, and football on TV.
  12. Yeah, when my husband and I got married I wanted a couples wedding shower. His response was, "ummm... unless we are watching football, having some beers and chili or cooking out, then yes. But if it's like what I am thinking, then no." He doesn't like to be the center of attention and didn't want to open gifts while everyone was watching and stuff like that.
  13. My friend was taking her 2 ½ year old to the county fair (in TN) over the weekend. They parked at a church and rode a school bus over to the fair grounds. My friend folded up the stroller and put it in the seat in front of them, and she said down with her mother, and put her son in between them. He was so worried that his stroller was going to fall out of the seat the whole way, and the wind was blowing his grandmother’s hair due to the open windows. He kept making sure his stroller was okay, and the trying flatten his grandmother’s hair saying, “stay down, hair!” So, when they were
  14. Thanks for posting this. I have to say - I am guilty of stopping. This morning the traffic opposite of me stopped, so I did, too. I couldn't remember if I was supposed to, so I did what everyone else was doing. Now I know. Thanks!

  18. Yummy - I am going to have to try that. My husband would love this. How many strombolis does it make? PS - sorry for the hijack. ETA: Never mind about how many. I obviously don't know fractions.
  19. I have cut my cost WAY down with coupons, sales, and meal planning. I make a list of meals for the week by sale ads/coupons and what I already have. Buy meat in bulk from the meat market in Dallas, and that helps a lot. After I have a meal list, I make my shopping list based off of it, in order of the isles of the store. My coupons are seperated this way, too. Everytime I use a coupon, I move it to the front pouch so I can just hand them all at once to the cashier. There are only two of us in the house (other than our dogs) so muy grocery bill isn't as high as most people, b
  20. No! That is me - I just wish I hadn't forgotten about Bones last night. You reminded me! Crap. At that time I think I was doing the dishes so I wouldn't have heard it. I will ask my husband, though.
  21. What time? I live off Bill Carruth just before Hiram Sudie when you're coming from 278 and I didn't hear anything.
