When I saw all the cans and bottles on the road to my house I thought it could be people that aren't supposed to be drinking and they're getting rid of the evidence, as if the beer smell wouldn't still be on them.

Who are the people that think it's okay to throw trash out on the side of the roads?

I would love for someone to figure out what causes fibromyalgia so it could be treated with more than just pain relievers. I need energy to get rid of clutter and clean my house, and just to get my life back. I also wish I could afford to go to Albuquerque to see my son and his new baby.

I know exactly how you feel. I have three sons, 34, 31 and 14. I have two wonderful daughters-in-law and 3 granddaughters, but I don't see them very often. I feel rather awkward around the girls since I have only raised boys, but I find I feel more protective of the girls when I'm around them. I pretty much stay out of their daily lives (they know I'm here if they need me) and often wonder if it would be different if I had had a daughter. (Of course I'm still raising the 14 year old, so I'm involved in his daily life, more than he wants. LOL)

I used to make my two older sons, there was 3 1/2 years difference, sit on the couch with their arms around each other until they could get along, and they always ended up laughing. Now my oldest, who is 34, does the same with his kids.

I can't believe how many drivers I saw this morning without their lights on. "Drives" me crazy. Also if people wouldn't follow the car in front of them so closely, they wouldn't have to keep hitting their brakes. And why do people think it's okay to fly down the wet roads?

I've seen how agitated my husband gets when he tries to quit smoking. Maybe they could cut back the amount allowed in mental hospitals and eliminate completely in the prisons and jails.

I don't drink sweet tea, I just make it for my husband.

Has anyone else been hearing shotgun shots today? We heard some earlier today and two more a few minutes ago. We live in a residential area.

My husband likes really sweet tea. I use Luzianne. Add 2 1/2 cups sugar to pan of water, bring to a boil. Remove from heat and steep six family size bags for five minutes. Remove bags and pour into pitcher and add equal amount of cold water.

I will try and hand the tip to the server from now on. That was a good tip. I almost always tip 20%, unless the service is just absolutely lousy.

I thought this board was for getting help and giving help when needed from fellow pcommers. There is so much judging in today's society the way it is. I am constantly talking to my ninth grade son about being true to himself and not worrying about comments from other high schoolers. I would think that you could come on this board and listen to and discuss others opinions. I enjoy coming on here and seeing opinions that are different from mine.

I was going to ask your childrens' ages but it really doesn't matter. After what they've been through, no question, I would go get them. I'm sure they would be comforted by seeing their mother.
