I am so sorry for your loss. I too know just how you feel. Losing my Leroy to cancer last October was one of the worst experiences of my life. Just try to remember what a great life he had with you and all the happiness he brought you and your family. You will see him again one day.

Oh man! I can't believe I forgot about the McRib!! It's been a while since they brought it back. I thought they did once a year. If they did last year I must have missed it. I still remember when it was on the menu full time in the 80's.

I'm not sure. I only know about the movie theater because we had plans to go until my friend called and said don't bother.

according to a friend, the power has gone out at the Hiram movie theater & it's closed. Not sure for how long.

Earlier today I was thinking about Pizza Hut BB-Q pizza which apparently no longer available. Anyone else have a food that you loved which is no longer available? Others I can think of- Dairy Queen's Peanut butter crunch blizzard, Keebler Pizzeria chips (from the early 90's), Oh yea & lemon Jolly Ranchers (those I really miss!!)

The sad thing is, what some of those kids don't realize is that mommy & daddy are living way beyond their means in order for the kids to live in such luxury.

Yep, i'm thinking this is the norm nowadays. I think it's sad. Somehow I lucked out in this area. My dd is going into 7th this year. She absolutely refuses to wear make-up or carry a purse. She is a little bit of a tomboy but mostly she just dosen't get caught up in whats considered "cool". All she wants for school is her hair done, Jeans, Hot topic t-shirts & some vans. She is definately not a crowd-follower & I couldn't be happier. I even offered to get her nails done with black tips, I thought that would be cool, nope. Not interested.

just a few weeks ago I attended my ex's (dd father) wedding. It was a hot mess. Actually quite sad. both the bride & groom had too much to drink before the wedding even started which resulted in slured vows with countless mistakes. To make it even better, the groom forgot to turn off his cell phone & it rang during the ceremony. The after wedding was even worse, of course the bride & groom insisted on having their "dance" which really just amounted to stumbling & the bride almost falling over. ok, I just got back from there. I drove all the way from new hope. Hey, my cravings are no joke I spent $11 and got quite a sampling of things. Cream cheese brownie (I just finished eating it & oh yea, YUM!!!), chocolate chunk cookies, peanut butter bar, cannolis & iced brownies. Yum!

awww, thanks!! thats my baby Mona. She is miss personality. We got her at the pound but she is the most expensive dog ever!! She has eaten 3 cell phones, the cord to my computer ect...I can never stay mad at her though, she is toooo cute. She's an "evil" pit.

a few years ago I had ants that got in through the window somehow, I would always find them crawling all over the window sill, I also found them in my kitchen cabinet. oddly enough it was the cup cabinet & not the food cabinet. Anyhoo, I read somewhere that ants won't go near coffee grounds. So I sprinkled coffee grounds along the edges of my window sill & along the edges of the cabinets. Til this day, no more ants!

you might want to go ahead and get him a neck brace while your at it. It seems this haircut causes boys to have a constant twitch their neck in order to keep hair out of their eyes. There's gonna be a whole generation of boys with neck problems.
