Starting school on a Friday has really thrown me for a loop I tell ya! I don't know weather to wind my butt or scratch my watch. I keep thinking today is Monday (so glad it's not btw). I even went to Publix and spent $8 on a lb. of chicken from the deli to make sandwiches for the week. Guess I know what we will be eating all weekend Am I the only confused one? Maybe i'm just a little bit "special".

I hope next year they extend the time a little. When we got to the school (Moses) there was literally NO parking, we left and went to Walgreens to kill some time then went back and finally found a parking spot. It was sweltering in there but maybe that was strategy to keep parents from lingering too long in order to free up more parking

I don't think that the people who go are nuts, don't get me wrong. I think everyone should experience Disney if they can!!I absolutely LOVE Universal & Island of Adventure. I can't imagine going in this heat though!! We went a few years ago in early october. I would definately reccomend going in the fall. The lines are shorter but smellier. that was the only downside. October is when Europeans go on their "holiday" so there was alot of BO floating around. I'm being toatlly serious BTW. I saw it, made me feel ashamed to be human. It broke my heart. I wanted to hug the homeless lady for being such a kind soul. Just goes to show that you really shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. That woman who had nothing (material wise)had more goodness in her that most. I can't imagine seeing someone laying on the sidewalk & not stopping to help. I can only hope that the people who just walked by saw this episode and feel a great amount of shame. As they should.

I just read where Disney world is raising prices a it's parks. Really? This makes no sense to me. As if it weren't already outrageosly expensive!! In a time where people are getting poorer I don't see how any company can raise their prices and expect a good outcome. Not that people are going to forego Disney World. I understand not smiling for those reasons (after all i'm guilty of only having profile pics taken because I feel like my nose is too wide when I smile to have a full face pic taken ) I actually know this guy though & have never even seen him laugh. I actually think his kids have a complex because their father dosen't seem to enjoy being around them or anything for that matter! I guess my real issue is people who are just a stick in the mud for no good reason.

He was with me too, last year. I remember he tried to make me feel like a bad parent for not buying the books. Saying things like "Don't you want your child to do well in school" "don't you want her to attend college" "the other parents I have spoken to feel education is THE MOST important thing"...jerk. People who think they are too cool to smile for a picture. I have a friend who recenly got back from vacation and posted pics on her facebook. Her husband looks like he is attending a funeral in all of them. I feel like commenting on them "dude, you are on VACATION, at the beach, with your family!!! It will be ok for Gods sake" Serious people in general get on my nerves. Come on laugh a little!! life is short, enjoy!

I saw that too. I didn't realize there is only a single net. That seems just wrong. By no means am I blaming the parents, but I personally would NEVER allow my child to ride a ride like that knowing she would only be caught by a net. As a matter of fact, I don't go to amusement parks with my child. She won't have any fun with me there. I'm a major buzzkill when it comes to heights and rides. I hope the little girl will be ok.

Same here, It was a younger guy. I remember he was very pushy. I thought it was weird but never gave it much more thought.

I disagree. The woman has talent. Never once have I seen Madonna play an insturment. Gaga is a classically trained pianist since the age of 4 I believe and unlike Madonna she can actually sing & writes her own songs.
