I haven't been in a while but the last time I went to the hiram kroger it was pretty dirty & the produce was old. and, what is streak o lean? never heard of it til I saw it on the Rodneys breakfast menu.

10/10/10!! Soon & I have yet to prepare! I'm still waiting on hubby to turn the office into a nursery! We have both been dragging our feet. You would never know we tried for 3 years to have this baby the way we have been procrastinating with everything. I think maybe we are still in shock LOL!

Thanks! no, i'm not throwing it for myself. A friend is doing it, with my help. I'm just trying to find the place to have it. She offered up her house but it's really just too small. I figured it would be better for me to pick the location given that she lives in a different town then everyone else who will be attending. She is not familiar with my area. It just so happens Rodneys is just down the road from me Thats might be a place to consider! anyone know how much it costs?

Hubby's cousin just unloaded some very nice "big" baby items on us & I am soooo thankful! It's nice having generous relatives!!

I agree with not being a gotta have it type. basics are good!! I was thinking along the lines of "gotta have it because it will make my life easier". I have a friend that swears by her video baby monitor....sounds like a good idea but they are expensive!!

Anyone have any suggestions on where to have an inexpensive baby shower? I'm thinking maybe a resturant that has a party room? Any help is appreciated! Also, is it really necessary to register for gifts? The thought of doing that overwhelms me. I haven't had a child in almost 13 years & i'm pretty sure EVERYTHING has changed since then, I wouldn't know where to start! Last, if you suggest that I do register, what are some items that are a "must have" for having a baby? TIA

I dread making dinner. Only since I've been pregnant though. I used to LOVE it and I would frequently make new recipes. Now by the time 5:00 rolls around i'm wore out and I settle on easy dishes or better yet $5 hot & ready pizzas from Little Cesars!!

just got back from Walgreens, I needed more prenatal vitamins. They have Nature Made prenatals with DHA buy one get one free They are $15.?? a bottle. I was so excited! (it's been a slow week) Just wanted to put the word out there since it seems there are alot of pregnant P.commers

I wonder if they were peeved when I asked them to hold it? My hubby loves the "denny burger" because it comes with a fried egg on it. This is a first for me. seems gross but I haven't tried it so I guess I shouldn't knock it. I'm glad to hear they are adding new appetizers. I think if we go again I will try a bratwurst.
