Same here. I'm not sad to see it go, I don't do it right anyway. My daughter always used to complain when I made her sign her name. I think they stopped teaching it when she was in 2nd grade so she isn't comfortable with it. Now that she's all into art and drawing she wants to start writing in cursive again. perhaps I should suggest calligraphy.

Nosey. Slightly off topic but this topic made me think of when I was a kid, my mom used to take us kids to open houses in new neighborhoods. Just to look and imagine what it would be like to live there.

Lucky!! I wish my hubby would go to yard sales. I want to go to yard sales but I fear it will be a pain with the baby. getting him in & out of the car over & over ect. I don't think he would like that. I don't know how to yard sale with a baby.

I'm having a good day too. It was my turn to wake up at 4 with the baby. My hubs did the sweetest thing ever and got up for me. I didn't even ask him to! I really needed that extra sleep. I think I will use this extra energy I have to clean. I hope everyone has a good day!

thanks for the reminder! I've been slack the past 2 years. The poor little fellas would fly by looking for my feeder only to find dissapointment. I will put it out today! Plus it will give my baby something to look at when we're sitting on the front porch.

wow! I'm sorry that happened to you! I would be a mess. have a drink and eat some egg rolls. Thats what I would do. I've had one hell of a week myself. I'm just exhausted really, and I think the pollen is messing with me. I have a headache which is rare and i've felt hungover for a few days now. oh and PMS here too. I'll be glad when the super moon gets the hell out of here.

the driver was wrong. period. I almost got hit head on today by an idiot teenage driver. I had both my kids in the car. My first instinct was to hunt her down,yank her out of her car by her hair and smack the hell out of her, but because I am a rational adult I know I can't do that and not spend some time locked up. It sucks that kids are so terrible. It bothers me to hear teachers say that. I hate it for the good kids especially. Hats off to teachers & bus drivers.

My child knows she will never get in trouble at home for defending herself. And I feel terrible for whoever decides it's a good idea to mess with her...given her 3+ years of martial arts training and all.

I don't agree with that. I agree he should have been suspended, he didn't HAVE to body slam the kid but he is only human. When pushed and pushed even the calmest people can snap. My daughter said kids were talking about this video at school. I say good. Let it be a lesson for the bullies.

My favorite part is how the big kid just walks away. He dosen't say anything, he dosen't kick the kid while he's down even though he could have. he just calmly walks off. good for him.
