an addict has to want to quit, like the others said. One thing you can do for yourself is go to an alanon meeting. it's a wonderful resource for family members of addicts.

unfortunately my daughters step mom is a former stripper. also unfortunately, she still dresses like it. Her daughter who is in 6th grade and quite developed wears low cut shirts to school to show off her cleavage. My DD tells me this and i've seen it for myself. Isn't there some rule against cleavage in middle school? btw, I have nothing against strippers. I just wish my dd's step mom wasn't formerly one.

fer real. a lot of people sure have benefited form her so called "self centerdness". like the 400 people who had their college PAID IN FULL. That's just one small example of the kind things she has done for others. I hope to be as self centered as she is one day. She was born black & poor in a racist south and became one of the most successful women on the planet. I'd say she has every right to love herself.

yea, I have friends I like less because of facebook. After years of reading other peoples crap you start to realize things about them you didn't know before. I have lots of people on hide. Some of them I regret putting on hide & I haven't figured out how to reverse it.

No doubt there are some major azzhats out there who are more than capable of this type of behavior, but my first thought was maybe it was an emergency of some sort. when I was 16 we were camping when my little brother cut his leg VERY deeply. My mom threw him in the car and drove like a bat outta hell to the nearest hospital. I'm pretty sure she ticked off a few drivers that day.

I just saw on the Today Show that the last show will be her talking. A love letter to her fans is what they called it. They interviewed audience members as they were leaving the taping, they were all teary eyed and said it was great. I'm glad she's going out that way.

I feel sad i've missed the last 2 days. I even forgot to dvr. I definately won't miss tomorrow's show. There will be tears. It's been a great season, I will miss her. I don't get the OWN channel. I don't think.

I got the BEST hug ever from LPPT!! Now I know what all the fuss is about. I feel all warm & fuzzy. What a great turnout!! The baby wasn't feeling it tonight so we left a little early but I did enter to win some stuff. *fingerscrossed*. head on over there folks, still plenty of good food and fun to be had. I'm so glad we went, it seems like it's going to be a big success!

Thats my 11th wedding anniversary. This is a perfect excuse to go to the beach & celebrate. I can think of no better place to spend my last day. and if he's wrong again, hey! i'll still be at the beach!
