I wore a white cap and gown when I graduated from PCHS. I was not an honor student. But this was back in 1977. I think it should be kept to one color, with maybe the honor graduates in a different color??

I have always put salt in my water when I boil eggs. Heard somewhere long ago that it made peeling eggs easier?? But you sometimes have that one stubborn egg!!

But, yet not one person has responded to say which county officials are to attend. My bet is that not a one will show up. Why would they--it is not required by them??? Oh--and I am not on their side. Keep us posted.

Hopefully after this, they will invest in better cameras! I hate it happened to them. They are nice folks.

I was in Aldi last week and the couple in front of me had 2 carts full of food. She had a Coach purse and was wearing Coach tennis shoes. Now, I do know that these could have been fakes, but even the fakes are expensive. They both had on a lot of jewelry and most was not costume jewelry. Their groceries rang up to almost $300 and I watched and sure enough--it said food stamps on the display thing. As I was leaving, they were loading their groceries into a very new Ford Expedition. A civil lawsuit is nothing like child support or divorce??? What they have been talking about on the news is a civil lawsuit against DFACS--period. And that is what this whole thread was about.

Most all cases like that are taken on a contingency fee--so no money up front. But it only seems to be ONE mother defending her???

All I know is that Beavers set the bond for the father. Don't know about any other cases, but usually, if you are in the Court system--you continue to get the same Judge.

I saw 2 wreckers going down Hiram Sudie a while ago--headed in that direction. One was a roll back and the other was a big wrecker--like used to get a dump truck (or any other big truck). They were both the same company, so I just assumed that they were headed to a wreck.

They showed an attorney on the news this morning and he said they were looking into it.

Heard on the news this morning that his mother has an attorney and is looking to sue DFACS. In some ways, I understand, but in others, I am having a real hard time with it. She obviously did not see the child that often or she would (or should ) have noticed all the signs of the abuse. I just feel that if a mother (or any parent) had seen the abuse they said that child endured---they would have taken him directly to law enforcement and skipped DFACS. Sure--law enforcement would have contacted DFACS, but they could have also done something about it sooner (I hope). I get that this "mother"

I think they are only that price for the first 2 you buy. After that, they are $1.09 a pound. But hey--just go there several times a day and get 2 at a time--right??? I have been buying Butterball Turkeys at Aldi for a good price. And they have a brand of honey glazed ham that they put on sale at holidays that is also really good. Haven't been able to beat their sale prices yet.

I have a recipe for an upside down german chocolate cake. I think it used a mix for the cake--but it is really good!! You make it in a sheet pan and the cake cooks on top of the coconut mixture.
