  1. Flocking scum. I hope they soon break into a house where the homeowner is there and armed.
  2. Ok . . . the lamb - I can believe it is a newborn . . . but the boy is not (unless they had bigger babies back then).
  3. There's no two ways about it: that is a fat-ass baby.
  4. If I know pubby - and I think I do - he would suggest that the entire grand jury was paid off by business owners who have huge insurance policies and are hoping for riots, looting, and/or arson.
  5. I bought a book that was supposed to help me learn Mandarin (which is another story) and it was printed in Kansas or some terrible place like it. I suppose they are the authority on the Mandarin language.
  6. This time of year (and around Easter), I love the Lindt's hollow chocolates. It's yums.
  7. But do we know the entire story here? These are probably great kids - probably with plans to attend college - who were on there way home from a midnight habitat-for-humanity project . . . they were probably just messing around and the hammer probably slipped from the hands of one of these fine kids and struck the "victim's" car. After that, these fine, upstanding kids were probably in fear of their lives and defended themselves with the tools they had used just a short time earlier for charity.
  8. Wonder if the paper the book is printed on is made in China? I mean, assuming they still print books.
  9. And I think that was the right course of action. It is a shame there's so much wrong information out there.
  10. Sure. When speaking to your children about current events, always speak in MLA format and remember to cite your sources, lest your child accuse you of plagiarism.
  11. I avoid that like the plague. Of course, with the advances in medicine, I'll take the plague any day.
  12. Yeah . . . and if I eat enough of them, I'll keep more than just a memory.
  13. The marble truffles are yummy - most of them. There is one that has passion fruit . . . not . . . a . . . fan. The worst part is when I picked up an actual marble . . . about broke 3 teeth. Okay, I was only joking. It was only one tooth.
  14. Я решил попасть. , , ой !, извините. , , Forgot this is the American Pcom. I decided to get into the wife's truffle assortment that she brought home from work, and it occurred to me that it is similar to Russian roulette. Except there's less chance of death, but an increased chance of yuckiness. These are marble truffles And while they are different colors, and there is a color coded "key" telling you what is what, the key is not very clear - is it gray, is it green, is it some crazy shade of blueish-green? Each time I start to pick one up, I have to wonder: is this it
  15. I guess I can understand that . . . I have a pair of shoes that's as old as AOL - and so comfortable that I still wear them. Seriously.
  16. Again . . . don't know if you are serious or not. Those of us who believe in a strong border don't want it to keep the world away, but to make those who want to come to our country to do so through legal channels. While I'm sure your logical self knows this, I am also sure your liberal self will never admit it. Other than your absurd commentary, the article itself was moderately interesting.
  17. I found it somewhat amusing when I was looking for a belt and found a leather one (a real leather one) that was made in India. WTH? I thought they worshiped cows?
  18. Abuse? This is good-natured ribbing. I mean, nobody even gave her grief over using dial-up.
  19. Ha! I changed mine to "Yo, you gots mail, mothertrucker!!" Of course that was back in 1998.
  20. Emailed Berry today and all they have for now are shoulders @ $6.55/lb. They say more variety after holidays.
  21. Let's all try to understand: while all media is about sensationalizing the mundane, and while FNC has basically a conservative view and the others are undoubtedly liberal . . . I only defend FNC as far as them offering something closer to true, where the others are completely skewed towards one agenda. Those of you who can't see that - or choose not to see it - can cry about FNC all you want, while quoting liberal sources to support your view, but it doesn't change the fact the MSM tries (and succeeds at) pushing their liberal view above all else. Some of you talk about us accepting th
  22. I'm sure there are plenty of idiots out there that are happy about that stuff and believe the spin - how it is better for all of us. Those same simple-minded people see Ferguson as a race issue - just like the media wants them to see it.
  23. What a sad sentiment. FNC (for the most part) keeps viewers more informed than the other "news" channels. Sometimes that news does make people angry and/or afraid - and rightly so if you give a damn about the direction of this country. However, the others do their best to lull people into believing that everything is great (or at least pretty good) - EXCEPT the "fact" that whites are all racists (but not them), all blacks are victims, and America is the global bad guy. I have no need, nor the desire, to subject myself to an ideology that intends to keep people oppressed (in one
