Several years ago, it was a bit of a novelty to find an open store. We were leaving a family gathering in East Cobb and saw an open Big Lots and, since it was a foreign concept to shop on Thanksgiving, we went in and looked around. Again, it was an odd thing - something you just didn't get to do on Thanksgiving. Now? Now Thanksgiving is pretty much like any other day of the week.
