Where are all the people who agree to the cigarette tax? Certainly you will agree with this tax too. Or are you trying to get the bitter taste of hypocrisy out of your mouth? Maybe wash it down with a cold coke.

Perhaps they should tax soft drinks, they are no good for anyone. And think of the money, the billions that can be raised to offset healthcare costs that the people who dont drink soft drinks have to pay. And salt! It's about time it gets banned!! High blood pressure, heart disease.. salt stains when you sweat... what good is salt?? The govt. knows whats best for us. Thank you govt. for caring about me so much. What's next, increased taxes on cigarettes? </sarcasm>

I am doing just peachy. Hope you are as well. Boys are done, girl took this season off (cheered at N.Paulding) ... cheered with GA Allstars last season.

Certainly not every aspect of our History can be included in a text book, unless it ended up being 120 pounds and several thousand pages. But leaving out things and/or people that are really important is re-writing history. Putting emphasis on some things, while barely mentioning other, more important things purely for the sake of making one group of people feel included is wrong.

I suppose those here who do not fish will not have a problem with this since it wont have any affect on their lives.

Too many people miss the point. "Pay the tax or quit, get over it". Talk about morons. Right now, the target is smokers/smoking. When something is demonized, it is easy to get the sheep on board. Taxing cigarettes is a good idea to raise money the state really needs and smoking is bad... people are for it. That money wont last, people will quit or get them somwhere else. So what will be taxed next? Fast food and fatty food and salty foods and whatever else can be deemed unhealthy. And the sheep will fall in line with that too. But it will dry up.... then

How sad. I miss the good old days.... talking about cheerleading and stuff.

I saw some at Ace the other day.

I shop in Acworth, because that's what the sign tell me to do. But when I am coming home, another sign tells me to shop Paulding. It's all so confusing. There needs to be a sign on my way out telling to shop Paulding, else it will never happen. I could throw a rock into Bartow or Cobb from my front door, unless my arm was hurting that day.
