GG your parents were as evil, mean, stupid and dumb as my parents. I too was not allowed in a car until 18 with anyone. WOW it must have been something wrong with them and their generation to believe and enforce this. And before I forget I can't rememebr exactly when it happened but I changed my mind and also enforced the same rule with my kids. I guess I am now all those mean things I said:)

When I was single I worked over time double time what ever. I also had a theory I would work holidays so those with kids could be home with them to celebrate the holiday. Once I got married and had kids I refused to work holidays.

My son had it and it lasted for a day, but took him about three before he felt back to normal. We were at a family gatherin last weekend and almost everyone there later had the stomach bug or upperrespitory infection after the party. Good Luck
