  1. The gutters we got from Champion were part of the price for the siding. I don't remember the breakdown on them. We no longer own that house and I don't have access to the paperwork (I left it behind in case the new owner needed to contact Champion for anything). Doesn't seem like it was much additional to have the gutters with gutter guards installed. Our gutters were actually in pretty good shape but we didn't want to have them taken down and then try to deal with having them reinstalled. Much easier to have Champion do it all at one time, and guarantee it all.
  2. We used Champion. Never a problem with the gutters or the guards.
  3. I do. But I hate to see reply after reply after reply in another topic. If I don't want to see their posts, that means ALL of them.
  4. I know the feature didn't work earlier and that it does now. But like I said, if it doesn't hide topics, it's pretty useless. Back to Facebook.
  5. Probably has me on ignore. I could see their posts in a thread. BTW, if you can see topics they start even if you have them on ignore, there is no point in having them on ignore.
  6. Me thinks we're trying to ignore the same user.
  7. I don't have the time nor the inclination to read a certain member's posts so I have put that member on ignore. But I'm still seeing all that person's posts, topics, everything. I've clicked "save changes" three times, gone offline and back online to Pcom and I'm still seeing them. Why doesn't this work?
  8. I'm sure some Paulding business owners will disagree that the marshall's office does nothing. They do seem to hassle business owners about signs on a regular basis.
  9. Supposedly some stores like feed and seed stores (and probably Tractor Supply) sells a product that will repel the little rascals. They don't like the smell of the product. It's all natural. I will try Google again to see if I can find the name of you for it. We had one a couple of weeks ago but apparently it didn't find enough food and seems to have moved off. http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Rid-of-Armadillos The product I was talking about is called "Shake Away".
  10. Gives new meaning to PET scan. That accuracy rate can't be touched by doctors either. That's awesome!
  11. Clear out the browser. Clear out the cookies. Flush the dns.
  12. Am I the only one who has said "hmmmmmm" about this more than once? Not only can I not understand why she wanted to go, I can't understand how she got there without the proper documentation. Years ago my mom's best friend couldn't register her nephew in school, whom she had raised since birth, without getting legal guardianship. And the "crime" she committed is giving false information. To a school????
  13. How could she register in any school without a birth certificate and an immunization record?
  14. All were married to the same man, at different times of course.
  15. I LOVE that episode. I always wanted a Walter. I was a big Gunsmoke fan. I guess because James Arness and my dad looked so much alike. And even now when I see the show, I think of my dad. I never cared for the "heartthrobs" of the shows--Michael Landon, Lee Majors. I liked the other ones--Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker, Ken Curtis, But my absolute favorite of all of them was Nick Adams in "The Rebel". I was something like six years old and thought he was just the prettiest thing there was.
  16. I'm with you Stradial. Not looking forward to being sofa bound for a month or so and being subjected to the garbage that is TV. I want a semi to run over the Gecko, all the attorneys, and those two creepy guys from Sonic before it's all over. Wait a minute. I want a semi to run over the attorneys and the Sonic guys NOW.
  17. Blazing Saddles. some of the 1930s and 1940s stuff. Didn't care for the Marx Brothers but loved Groucho. Didn't care for the Three Stooges movies much. But Carole Lombard was awesome. Come to think of it, I think the only comedy I own is Blazing Saddles. And I love comedy. Just don't care for long periods of it.
  18. I happen to like slapstick. I think that's why I like Stradial.
  19. Hard to believe it's the 40th anniversary of "Blazing Saddles".
  20. My youngest daughter has PTSD and has never served in the military. I'm quite familiar with it. In fact, too familiar to suit me. And yes, always have been a supporter of the military and law enforcement. My dad was on a ship in WWII that was torpedoed and went down in the North Atlantic, both brothers were in Air Force, brother in law in Navy and have a nephew currently in the Marines. A bunch of friends from high school went into the Army after high school. BIG supporter of military. Long history of law enforcement in my family (grandfather and great grandfather were "revenuers",
  21. Rainwater. I just wish they would come to Florida to do work for us. I like them that well.
  22. Not just the ADA but also it would have been an illegal interview question, I would think. Unless of course, you brought up PTSD or any other illegal question first in which case it would be a free-for-all. Kudos for making out of there without PTSD. And thank you for your service to our country.
