I LOVED Gibson's. I bought many, many things there. Had a crush on one of the cashiers, so I went there often. What about Gran Jewel? It was at Cobb Center.

I haven't been to that area in probably 20 years. I'm surprised Home Depot is still there. That's the first one I ever remember going to.

I remember it before it was Richway. I remember when it was Treasure Island and you could buy food and clothes in the same place. Kind of like Walmart but before Walmart.

We had some errands to run this morning. We were gone an hour or an hour and a half. Prices went up 6 cents a gallon while we were gone. We came home, I grabbed my car keys and headed to the gas station. I wasn't alone. Every single pump was taken. I had to loop around to get to where I had just seen someone leave. I hate that Texas is dealing with this but I thank my lucky stars it isn't us. This time at least. I wasn't living here during Opal, Ivan, Dennis, Rita, Wilma or Katrina. I never fill up anymore. I usually get 10 gallons, which is close to full because I don't let the fuel light come on. I probably get gas about as often as you do. My long drives are to Walmart, which is 16 miles round trip. And I go just as seldom as I possibly can.

Don't forget about Labor Day, too. Told my husband about an hour ago I was going to go fill up the car tomorrow. BTW, gas went up 6 cents since yesterday.

I read one service was having outages in the Atlanta area today. Can't remember which one but likely the one that gave the problems.

It was the community center, kind of behind and beside the "mall" which is a city of Austell office building now. It was an old white board building next to the ballfield. I think you could see the threadmill from there but I'm not sure. It's been a few years since I was there. I'm sure trees have grown since that.

but this vaccine wouldn't have had an effect on most types of cancer. Like you, I've lost a ton of family members to various cancers--multiple myeloma, lymphoma, liver cancer, lung cancer. Lost a good friend to breast cancer. But the HPV vaccine wouldn't have made a difference to them. I believe the cure is out there for most cancers but there is more money in treating cancer than curing it. Unfortunately.

Very true but it may have been an aware "bestowed" on her by her peers. Either way, it would have been better had she not received an award of any kind. I so hated those awards just being there anyway.
