We used to go out and eat with a group of people from church about every week. I nearly always made sure that I had to go back to the table to get something so I could check the tips. There were many times that I would add to someone's tip to keep the group from getting a bad reputation. Sorry people aren't excluded from church, but not all Sunday afternoon church-goers are bad tippers. I even tip when the service is bad. The way I see it is just because they didn't do what was right doesn't mean that I'm not going to.

I think over-priced has been confused with upscale. And the food sucks too. I have to wonder if there is not a problem with the waitstaff not getting their money from the cashier when people add their tip to their debit or credit card instead of leaving cash. That's what I would be checking.

I try not to ever sound too religious. I'm more of a spiritual type than a religious type, but I can tell you that just by being there you have said all that you could have possibly have said. They will always remember that you were there when they needed someone.

Having gone through high school during the hippie days I will refrain from saying anything about how ridiculous anyone else dresses. But I will say that the saggy assed pants or the bell bottoms we wore are not nearly as goofy looking as the rolled up pistol-legged Levis with white socks and penny loafers. And people wonder where homosexuality started.

There used to be an old place on main street (or whatever they call the main drag) called the Partridge. My dad loved this place and we had several family gathering type meals there. Don't know if it's still there or not.

I watched an engine cowling fall from a Delta DC-9 into the Ford plant parking lot at Hartsfield one day. I had my camera in my hand and never thought about taking a picture until it was over. The weird part of the story is that I had an uncle that was an aircraft scheduler for Delta at the time. I called him from my cell and told him what I had seen. He contacted flight control and the pilot was aware of something happening but wasn't sure what. The flight continued to Dulles and landed without incident.

I prefer choosing my contractors and writing my own specifications. I'm not exactly "judging" these guys, I just want to make sure it is done "MY" way and that "MY" money goes to American citizens that aren't going to wire it to Mexico.

I just got a check today from my insurance company to replace my roof. I was amazed at the amount. I had one of those roofers look at mine and he said I had hail damage and not to let my insurance company look at it unless he was present. I didn't like the sound of that so I called my agent and they sent out an inspector last week. I am putting a couple of additions on the house and want to roof it all at one time so that it matches. I also want to use a builder that I know to do all the work and I am going to be the one that tells them how I want the work done and with what materials.

We have had them here for 10+ years. And for the person that said he hasn't heard of any problems with them from anyone, all I can say is you haven't talked to the right person. They have been killing small livestock around here for a while. That's why you will notice that anyone with cattle will have a donkey in the pasture with the cattle. I have shot at a couple but I am about to start a full scale massacre on coyotes around here.

At least JJ didn't win. I just watch the highlights these days. No more wasting a Sunday afternoon watching these guys drive around in circles. I would rather sit on the bank beside I-285 with a 12 pack. Much better racing.

With Ryan and Brees at QB for the two teams, we are in for some good rivalry football for the next few years.

We soaped the windows at the Fannin County Sheriff Department one Halloween but living in Blue Ridge in those days was pretty boring so we didn't have to wait until Halloween to be mischief. Our favorite was tying a string to a hub cap and laying it beside the road. Eventually someone would stop to pick up the hub cap and about the time they would reach for it we would snatch the string and haul @$$.

So just how the heck did people survive before all the vaccinations? Oh that's right, they had an immune system before all the vaccinations wiped them out. And what about all the nasty little chemicals in these vaccines like mercury? It's okay to have mercury injected into your muscle but it's bad to eat a fish that has a trace amount of mercury? Someone is full of sheeze and I think it's the CDC.

From Hiram go west on 278 until you see the big pile of corruption and wasted tax dollars on the right.

We are not causing the ice caps to melt. That's just some bullcheeze lie Al Gore came up with so he could burn a few hundred thousand gallons of jet fuel and write it off on his taxes. -

Speaking strictly from the construction end of LEED. The intention is good, but the burden of providing products, equipment and materials that meet the specific LEED certification should be put on the designer, not the contractor. To add more frustration, I have tried to submit equals to specified products that are manufactured 50 miles from a project instead of 500 miles and have had them rejected. -

LEEDS is a total crock of sheeze. Nothing more than paperwork for a tax credit. As for me personally, I am going to start recycling cardboard and aluminum at least. I watched a program today at lunch about aluminum cans. It takes only 15% of the energy to recycle an aluminum can as compared to making a new aluminum can. Aluminum is one of the most recyclable materials there is and Americans send 50% of them to the landfill. We use aluminum cans at the rate of 100 billion per year. If all aluminum cans were recycled the energy saved would be enough to provide all the energy for -
I guess my half of the family out of South Georgia knows all of 'em. When they were finished working for the day they would always say "let's pi$$ on the fire and call the dogs".

Ridiculous! The GA Dome was just repainted last year and all the suites were refurbished two years ago. All the seats were replaced last year also. I can guarantee you Arthur Blank doesn't pi$$ away his own money the way he wants to spend taxpayer money. And what really sucks is the taxpayers float the loan and pay for the facility but will never get a cut of the profits. Oh wait! We're already doing that for the banks too aren't we?

I have a Taurus with Pac Mar handle but it's only a five shot. And I keep one chamber empty on the hammer in case it gets dropped and usually keep the first chamber empty just in case a kid were to happen up on it. Not that I'm grossly negligent, just ultra careful. I'd like to have a Judge. That is one bad @$$ gun.

Nope. Shouldn't this be the answer and question thread?
-
Yep. Just be sure to take you a hand gun. And not one of those sissy revolvers either. Everything except for the teenagers sounds good to me.

Google Walther PPK/S. You can get it in a .380 or 32 caliber and I think a 9mm. This is the James Bond gun. Small and easy to conceal but not too small like the Baby Glocks. This is probably what the next handgun I buy will be.
