I'd find the skanky sailor costume less offensive than a pedophile costume. But to each their own.

She should be contacted by a mortgage servicer or real estate company. That is who she should ask about it. My neighbors just did this and got $2k for leaving the house "broom clean" with no junk left behind. And even though BofA is temporarily suspending foreclosures, if she is behind, she'll lose it anyway. Might as well not delay the inevitable.

I use allrecipes.com You can search for recipes by ingredient which is what I usually use. For instance, I have a butternut squash I need to use. Search for "butternut squash" and bam! there's plenty of recipes. I usually only use the 4 or 5 star recipes and make sure that you read the reviews, At the bottom of each recipe, they have the nutritional facts. I always eat "healthy" which means to me, I eat "close to the earth". I don't buy packaged or pre-cooked foods, I buy as fresh as possible. I also buy mostly organic foods because I have to be very careful with what I eat. G

Anyone want to take control of my life?
justgettingby replied to dallas nana's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My organization skills are terrible but I do want to send you and your husband my best wishes. My 9 yr old nephew had a liver transplant June 2009 and he is like a new person. It was a long road but a magnificent one. I wish you guys the best! Now, what type of help do you need? I'm sure if you list specifics that there are people out there who can help one way or another. -
How can I tell if this is really old or not?/.

Yankee Candle. They are more expensive, but just one candle last FOREVER and will smell up your entire house. I have one medium size burning right now and you can smell it throughout (3200 sq ft). We had Ragsdale come out today and the tech complimented me on the smell. YOu can sign up onlone they'll mail you catalogs with scratch and sniff along with a coupon on the front, or just opt for emails only. They just opened a Yankee Candle at The Avenue. I won't bother with anything else. Oh, and I hold my breath when I walk in Kroger because those cinammon crap brooms make me want

He drives me nuts because he ALWAYS has spittle in the corners of his mouth. I can only imagine that in person, you'd get a spit shower from him. -
Here's your answer to the hygiene questions... "As it turns out, the rescuers have been working daily over the past two months to help the trapped miners keep up with basic hygiene and grooming. They’ve been sending necessities such as toilet paper and toothpaste down the shaft, as well as making sure each miner received approximately 10 gallons of water per day to clean himself, along with soap and shampoo. It was one of many small efforts made to normalize life for the men underground. And then, just a few days ago, as they prepared to make their final push for the surface, the 33 wo

They were given fresh clothes before they were brought up.

It has been absolutely awe-inspiring to watch this unfold. I don't believe in miracles, but all of those who went into making this happen deserve a heap of praise. I hope a lot of people will learn from watching the sheer strength, will, and human spirit of these men.

There's no way I am staying up all night, but I'm finding it hard to turn off the TV.

That's exactly how I felt and was consequently diagnosed with CD. CT scans and MRI's did nothing to show the active disease, even at my worst. The dreaded colonoscopy was and is the only test that shows it for me, unfortunately.

There are at least 5 miners who would probably prefer to stay down there http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/southamerica/chile/7978509/Mistresses-and-wives-clash-over-trapped-Chilean-miners.html "Authorities at Camp Hope have had to deal with a rush of women coming forward claiming to be first in the Chilean miners' affections in order to receive government handouts. At least five wives have been forced to come face to face with mistresses whose existence was kept from them by their husbands, who have been trapped more than 2,300ft below since a cave in on August 5 One mi

Diverticular disease usually effects those older than you, say 40 or so. My Mom has it an when it flares (diverticulitis) she basically has to goes on a liquid diet for days until the inflammation goes down. There are certain foods she has to avoid (popcorn, strawberries, anything with little seeds) and she eats a high fiber diet. Surgery is generally a last resort and not very common. Did they do a colonoscopy? That's the best way to rule out Crohn's disease or Ulcerative Colitis. Read up on WebMD, Mayo clinic, etc. You'll want to learn what to eat and what to stay far, far away fro

I still don't understand the reasoning behind moving it to Saturday.

Thanks guys! I've made up my mind, tankless it is going to be. The prices aren't nearly as bad as I had thought. Plus, with the tax credit bs it'll be even cheaper. Now I have to call Ragsdale to come check my furnace. We replaced both AC units earlier, now the water heater, so I'm sure the furnace is next

Question - insurance ,pedestrian accident
justgettingby replied to MissSophie's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Just because the driver was not at charged does not mean the insurance won't pay. A neighbor of mine was hit by a truck when she was little and the insurance company settled, put the money in a trust to be used only for her numerous, lifetime medical expenses. She's not going to be a millionaire, but she at least has the comfort of knowing she has money available for things that aren't covered otherwise. Good luck to you. Hope you get some good answers. -
The tax credit is 30% of the cost including installation charges for the tankless. We just bought this house a few months ago and I should have known this was going to happen. It takes FOREVER and a day to get hot water anywhere in the house. Just wish it didn't flood our garage on a Friday night. Oh well, at least we were home ETA: Ooooh, I didn't know they carry hot water heaters at the depot. Shows you how many times I check out the plumbing department. I'm such a girl.

Our hot water heater shat the bed tonight. So... tankless water heater or the regular ol' kind? Any input on this incredibly boring, not-so-hot topic?

I'm trying to figure out how someone could be mad about a person getting animal insurance for their pet. What's the big deal?

The disabled vet tags are free and no ad valorem. But you have to be 100% disabled by the VA. Actually, I just looked at the Georgia website and retired vets do not have to pay a tag fee.
