Generics aren't always the answer either. One of the class of medications I take would not work as a generic. There's not much money to be made in trying to try to re-create it, then go through the entire clinical trial process over again to get FDA approval as a generic. The drug is derived from living cell so even a generic would require clinical trials first. It's a $2k monthly injection but thankfully with my insurance I only have a $20 copay. Although the drug company does offer an assistance program for those who can't afford it.

Life is way too short to stress over things like this. If they are toxic, delete them and move on. I bet you'll feel way better afterwards.

It's my understanding that lipo is not effective in getting rid of cellulite. But I don't know about any new lipo procedures.

There's no doubt about it, I would have tried to give it back. I'm not all about God and all that goobly gook, but I try to be a good human. A good human would try to return it. HOWEVER, if no owner came forward, I would have NO PROBLEM spending that $$$. That's just my conscience speaking.

I have a ceiling fan in my bathroom and that was just reason why we bought this house. I loooooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeee that fan! But the HVAC was`woefully too small for the square footage. Another year in this house and the new system will have paid for itself! Well worth it.

Have you had someone look at your system? We had a new HVAC put in last year shortly after we moved in. Since then, we have never had a bill over $200 for a 3200 sq. ft. home.

I'm participating in a Phase 2 clinical trial and the consent form was 23 PAGES LONG! That does not include two additional consent forms that I declined to sign (regarding DNA samples, etc). I can't imagine what it takes to get a drug through to FDA approval...if at all.

I think I'd rather pay a few more bucks than to live like that. But more power to ya (LOL @ my pun). That is quite an accomplishment.

I've had a list for awhile and have been able to complete some of the items. I don't want to wait until I'm elderly or ill and can't get around to do my traveling. So I have done quite a bit for being in my mid 30's. Not sure which one yet, but I'll be traveling to either India or Maldives this October. That'll check off another item. I also want to tour Chernobyl and see the "Red forest", and visit the Kingdom of Bhutan. I think the harder items on the list are things like, "find biological father", and "give away one million dollars".

Yep, that poor kid will be forever punished for something that is not his fault. And I'm sure his half siblings will never want anything to do with him either.

Botox doesn't hurt one bit, at least not around the crow's feet (never had it anywhere else). But I cannot tolerate the pain of waxing.

She also supposedly has her daughter back after making the declaration. Botox or not, I don't think taking a daughter away from her Mom was the proper solution. It seems a little extreme when there were other things she could be ordered to do and other types of "punishments". That poor girl.

I just got back from Chicago yesterday. Harry Caray's would be the best in my opinion but that's just because I'm a huge Cubs fan, and always have been. Harry was the best! But NG is right. I would not go to Chicago for the steaks. Italian Beef, hot dogs, pizza, gyros plates, and cheesecake maybe, but not so much for the steaks. If you simply have to have steak, go to Harry Caray's. But PLEASE also grab a Chicago style hotdog with everything on it and a dipped Italian beef while you are there. Stop by a Gino's or Lou Malnati's for a stuffed pizza. Even Carson's ribs are a must

THat's most likely your grass to cut. As said above, usually a fence is built at least one foot inside your property. I learned this when we had a uhhh, mmmmm, "dispute" with our neighbor. We ended up getting the property surveyed and yep, the fence was exactly one foot inside our property line.

Any 25 year relationship that comes to an end makes me sad. I don't care who it is.

This is our first full year in this house. Our assessment was the sale price and then it says "for one year only". We bought the house for 80k under the assessed value so I'm glad for the bteak on taxes this year. Next year will be interesting.
