A large part of my business is based on removing dead lawn mowers, and other outdoor equipment from people who want them hauled away. Today was very SLOW, so the early part of this week would be a GREAT time to call me and let me know if you have an clunkers that are cluttering up your yard or garage. As long as you're in the Dallas/Hiram/West Powder Springs, or North D'ville area, I would be happy to haul them away. I rebuild some for re-sale, and the really DEAD ones, I can tear down for good used parts to save my customers money on repairs. This week looks like a good week to make some

Anyone else get caught by power company billing upgrade
subby1 replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Greystone sub'd that part out to an outsource company. If you get your bill by mail, then you have no doubt noticed the change in how the form looks. I found this out the hard way trying to pay by phone. Used to be EASY...but the first time you try since they outsourced the bill pay method, you basically have to give all that info as usual, THEN, you get transferred to the outsource company, who asks you all the same bull-turd you just got through entering. This was my first time, so I am assuming it should go straight there from now on. I'll know in about a week. -
Hybrids (the best, thus far) and electric are fine, but they still miss a point of how we need to develop a better solution. For every electric car, we are burning more coal to make the electricity to power the car. (harmful emissions from the coal) Hybrids (some of them) are a pretty cool idea, such as the ones that auto shutdown while coasting down hills, and switch on the alternator to charge the batteries. But folks....this is still yada, yada, yada! Natural gas, for instance, burns clean and most engines can be switched over to use natural gas. BUILDING the dang cars would be the firs

2 trailer park girls walk round the outside, round the outside..... Guess who's back? Slim Shady!

Amen, sister! Although I do feel bad for those who have long commutes. I am thankful that I almost never leave my home, since I work here. But every time I have to go fill up my 5 gallon gas can (for mowers) I CRINGE!!! Good old Jimmy Carter tried his best as Prez. to get us to conserve gas, and schedule our trips to the store, etc. It's a damned shame no one listened to him. Therein, lies my apathy. We were warned back in the mid 70's. No one paid attention, then the roaring 90's just brought hell upon us all....larger gas guzzling SUV's, etc. I NEVER bought into any of that. I have driven ri

I'm sorry..I'm in the middle of using 3 different people for website work, and one was for my band, Simply Southern. I have the pics, but I lost the PM's, so would you please contact me ASAP via my email? Thanks! glennjiles@comcast.net I am SO glad I have a TERRIFIC secretary now, so I don't have to juggle a million things at once anymore. My number is 678-315-8794 if you need to call me. And again, I apologize for the delays, and most of all screwing up on dumping PM's that I shouldn't have. Oops!!!

I am happy to announce that I am expanding my services to include landscaping. Some weeks are slow for repairs, while other weeks I am slammed with work, so on those slow weeks, it just made sense to me to include landscaping services too. I got the idea when a customer came in and wanted to know who my landscaper was, so they could hire them. Well, my landscaper is ME! Since I have to test repaired or rebuilt (for sale) items, it has resulted in my yard being very well manicured. Not to mention I have probably more equipment to do the job than most landscaping companies do. If you would

I just wanted to thank the gentleman who offered me two push mowers today, which I picked up and am already rebuilding. If anyone else needs your scrapped mowers and other outdoor equipment hauled off, just drop me a line, please. Keep in mind, that by doing this, you are helping our community save money, in two different ways: 1. I can rebuild the mowers, and be able to sell them for a lot less than a new costs, which saves our local folks money, plus the money they pay goes right back into our own community, rather than to the Chinese when you purchase a new mower. 2. I can save cus

cuts and furloughs to the men in blue may cut local revenue
subby1 replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I LOVE that statement!!!! In fact, I base my business on that very thing. Sure, I want to pay my bills and keep my house, but I ALSO (VERY MUCH) want to help my community by providing great service, at rates that people (in this economy) can afford. I can't begin to count how many policeman are regular customers of mine, and they are TERRIFIC men!! They put their lives on the line for all of us, and get very little in return. I have the utmost respect for that. I can't tell you how many times people have told me "you don't charge enough for your work you provide". Okay....so, maybe I don't -
Yes, it was....and NOW, that we know that our supposed ally (Pakistan) had been harboring his sorry ass all this time, what should we do about them? And please, don;t get me started on the Navy Seal who was court-marshaled (eventually repealed) for blowing the whistle on how he had his assault rifle right in the guy's face (YEARS AGO) and was told, "do NOT shoot him, please leave the premises". Ya see, this is the biggest reason I don't spend much time on these subjects. Whether you choose to believe it or not, WAR, INC. is how America makes a LOT of its money. Had that SEAL been told
