  1. --- sorry, by the time you pay the $35 enrollment fee and the $$120 to $320 annual fee each year, then factor in the very few items that they will actually cover (see the "Limitations and exclusions" section) then i don't see the discount.
  2. i hope you gave her (or him) a christmas gift a few weeks ago! Take care of those in your life -- your teachers, bus drivers, mail man, etc
  3. please feel free to share the location
  4. first, if you are "leasing" a car, you are responsible for the emmissions, tag, insurance, etc. Even if you borrow a car, you are still responsible for it being legally driven --- lights, insurance, tag, etc second, if you got a tag for it before the repo, then you can go to the tag office and get a print/receipt for the tag date and expiration and tax paid, etc. --- that is, unless the tag was in the other guy's name, then he would have to go there. Either way, i doubt it would dismissed. I mean, you were not out of the country, or in the hospital for a month, etc and could not g
  5. hey, you would not believe some of the issues i have been involved with lately with wills and estates -- people coming out of the "woodwork" so to speak.
  6. He may have been concerned that the authorities wouldn't have been as attentive with her case knowing she was a "working girl" versus a pregnant young mother with a baby at home.
  7. I don't know this person at all, but if I did, why should I share information about this person with anyone -- especially someone I don't know? A person called my job recently looking for a coworker of mine wanting to reach them. Only after I determined that the person was legit and had a valid reason (that I could verify), did I give out contact info. Not saying you personally, but I would be very uncomfortable giving out personal information on anyone living or dead. Just can't be too careful these days....

  9. at :25 seconds, while talking about apples, she forgot to mention the cyanide in the apple seeds -- not so healthy after all!
  10. i agree, if you hear it but don't see anything, then it is firearms or pipe bombs
  11. Although it is good to be vigil, here are a couple of likely scenarios: A delivery guy is going to use his own cell phone while on the road, and it could have any name or city attached to that number. It is not very professional, but it happens. Alot of verizon phones will say griffin, ga, no matter what the home billing address is. He could be in his own courier/delivery business contracting to deliver for a local florist, etc. The original purchaser, especially if they bought many arrangements, may have ordered online or via 800 number with credit card, etc and they are sent out (te

  13. if they have a highly decorated place, then the cheap walmart timers won't work. they are only good for about 1600 watts.
  14. Try disabling adobe flash player temporarily in your browser and see if it still freezes. Another test is to disable or remove java temporarily. Of course, i am assuming your computer is up to date on hardware / bios / network controller, etc from the manufacturer. Go to their web site and see if there are any patches / updates fo ryour model number. Also, notice which web site or programs you have open at the same time as browsing.

  16. Oh My Gosh! That was amazing. I actually closed my eyes and he was right. Just weird. Thank you for sharing!
  17. Dang, I looked that up and you are correct. I have always followed the 3 second rule on expressways, but haven't considered it much on regular low speed roads. Still feels ridiculously far away, especially when they come to a hill and can't maintain speed.
  18. Driving behind a covered dump-truck today I noticed two signs: "NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGED WINDSHIELDS" and "STAY BACK 200 FEET". My own house is 80 feet long. How can anybody be expected to drive that far behind another vehicle? That is not far off from a football field. Can it be even be held up legally in court? I figured if anyone knows, it would be someone on here..... Just curious. ETA: Seen about 30+- dump trucks with probably dirt in them pass by going towards the SO's. Wonder where they are going....

  20. My sincerest respects to Shane and Ralph. Mrs. Swafford was a sweet lady.
  21. It is a buyers market for employers now. With friends and relatives, i have found it is the "behind the scenes" stuff that makes the difference. Corporations are now pulling credit reports and and looking at your online presence, facebook, etc --- some are even checking to see if you have ever filed law suit too.
  22. Bet I know which one your are talking about. I really like this teller too. She is very sweet, just a bit too talkative.
  23. Wonder if it's true that other passengers were allowed to use their "mechanical device" and that Baldwin was singled out? Just curious.
