  1. Mine came the other day and I haven't had time to break it out yet. Too much to do right now.
  2. Talk to WSBTV or another local station so that they can get the suspect on a security camera from store security. It would make one heck of a hiliarious news story.
  3. Take the easy way and call Pike's nursery. I bet they have some.
  4. I don't mind the cold, I just can't drive worth a dang in it! Hubby promised me before we married that he wouldn't move me to Minnesota which is his home state. He grew up 20 miles from Canada. Part of the reason behind that promise is all the snow up there and having to be home bound in it. I don't see how they survive up there. Blizzards that will bury you standing upright, spring flooding so bad that deer are stranded on the parts of bridges that aren't washed out, then mosquitos the size of bats and high heat in the summer! Now a little snow here for a day or two I can handle. So fa

  6. Use to you could only find it at the airports and hubby would bring it home to me every so often after a trip. Now you can find them in Walmart candy aisles. These days he will bring home a box of Godiva every so often and we share.
  7. Oatmeal chocolate chip for me. Preferably with pecans and a glass of milk. YUM!
  8. Spray paint your house # on your meter cover.
  9. Awesome! We are supposed to have lows in the 20s or teens through Friday night. Right at this moment the local forecast with the National Weather Service is calling for a "slight chance of snow" Sunday night. Monday night I heard on the local news that they are watching it to see if anything develops. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?site=ffc&zmx=1&zmy=1&map.x=109&map.y=91
  10. C) Attend church services on Christmas Day.
  11. As I said earlier, I don't care if he goes naked as long as he has a smile on! Please give him a smile.
  12. Apparently the Taco Bell in Hiram will also remain open, because they have just redecorated the entire inside. I noticed this over the weekend.
  13. That's what I was thinking too. Except no prom dress. I have a full length, burgundy taffeta dress that was worn a few years ago to one of hubby's company Christmas parties and it would have went with the float very well! All of our P.commers look awesome and I know it took a whole team of you to put things together. Great job!
  14. I want to try it for myself but in my hubby's situation he has gout. It is my understanding that you are supposed to avoid shellfish if you have gout. Is this true?
  15. I can only think of the framing desk in the back of Michael's Craft store. Another option would be to go to Lowe's or Home Depot and have the right size cut from a new mirror, then install it yourself. Sorry I am not much more help.
  16. I grew up with the drag strip in operation and went a few times myself. My current subdivision is maybe 1/4 of a mile from the drag strip. We have been in this house since it was new in 1998. For a few years the drag strip was still open and operating after hubby bought the house. I know because you could hear the race announcer, the fans, and just about everything else from my back deck. Most of us in the neighborhood never thought of it as a nuisance, so I am not sure why it would have "sold for a subdivision". It closed down long before it was ever sold.
  17. NOW mine looks fixed (on the left margins like usual). I use IE.
  18. Ok, I am out of here until this gets fixed. It's too annoying, especially with everyones screen names in the middle of the posts instead of the usual left. It looks to me that the user names and the margins for the text in the posts have been set to "center" and not "left".
  19. Mine is also set to standard and the ad bar in between the posts is taking the place of post #2 that seems to be missing in this thread. Also everyone's screen name use to be on the left, now it is in the middle of their post. I have changed NO settings.
  20. I believe it's still there under all the weeds and mounds of dirt that have been piled up. Isn't the land for sale?
  21. What specifically is the time for the tree lighting? I know my husband will not hang around for 4 hours waiting, so I am trying to pin down a time frame. Thank you.
  22. A hat would be great, but I would be happy if the snowman just had a SMILE! He looks pretty blank.
  23. Stbarts, there is a tool called a dryer "snake" that can be used to clean the dryer tube out. It looks alot like a plumber's snake. Basically it's a long wire with bristles on the end that you feed into the dryer tube and twist it around. When you pull the dryer snake back out, then it should have alot of the lint on it. Keep your vacuum handy as it can get messy. Also vacuum the metal dryer tube that sticks out of the back of the dryer. Get some help to move the dryer and also vacuum underneath. A dryer "snake" or cleaner can be found at Lowe's, Home Depot and I think I have seen them in Walm
  24. It should turn colder after this front comes through.
  25. When I graduated from technical college I ordered a ring from Jostens. Yes they have been around for a long time, very good quality and it looks just like what I wanted. I didn't order my birthstone but instead went with a blood red garnet and had an inlaid gold cross put on the garnet. I have been in jewelry stores and had compliments from jewelers on it because it is so distinctive and beautiful. Unfortunately the arthritis in my hands has gotten so bad that I can now only fit it on my little finger. I need to get it resized.
