  1. I've got to order a couple of things online but only because I can't find them in local stores. I have shopped Amazon and Ebay many times before but I will not be shopping there for Christmas gifts. I can't say which online stores because that may give away the surprise.
  2. So you are less than 1 and 3/4's a mile from me. I will continue to keep a lookout here in my area. I am so glad to hear that you guys are taking this seriously and being cautious with your pets. I hate to hear that some have their cats missing though. Keep me and the rest of us who are interested posted please. I wish you the best of luck, or do you even need it with a P.com name like Lucky? LOL
  3. To the coyote your pets are the food. For the time being, I would keep them inside unless you are walking them. Annie get your guns! (Meaning get ready!) You guys stay safe. Edit: Lucky, how far are you from the East Paulding Publix? I think I am only 1-2 miles from you. I have been on the look out here in Twelve Oaks since I seen your topic the other night. Coyotes have been spotted in my back yard by a neighbor over the years (none recently). I don't have food outside either but one neighbor has a dog behind a fence and another has a couple of outdoor cats. We think the coyotes that were
  4. UGH! I am so sorry this happened to you! Call the police and get a report filed. They can investigate and possibly file charges. Did anyone actually SEE the car hit these objects and catch what make, model and the color was? If there was a witness then police may be more likely to file charges. Good luck.
  5. What is happening with the coyotes and wild dogs here in Paulding county is that they are starting to become over populated. There are too many of them compared with too little food. I can remember when I was about 7 years old (about 35 years ago) was the first time I realized that 2 of my uncles would actually go hunting them to reduce their population here in Paulding. Why? Because they would start attacking cattle (and KILL them), stealing chickens, pets, etc. and many farmers in this area RAISED livestock for a LIVING. They can also stress dairy cows enough that the cows can have a lower m
  6. I think Rodney's Barbeque smokes them too.
  7. Some areas of NORTH CAROLINA have a slight chance of snow Thursday night, but not Georgia.
  8. NO! The National Weather Service says Dallas has a 30% chance of showers with a low of 41 degrees. NWS Forecast for Dallas, GA
  9. Is this the results for the entire county or just Hiram?
  10. Paulding County Code of Ordinances Section 62-63 Unlawful Use of County Road Sec. 62-63. - Unlawful use of county road. 12. It's been 2 years since Josie was born 3 1/2 months early. Michelle is now 45 and is pregnant with number 20 due in April 2012. WOW! http://www.duggarfamily.com/twenty
  13. What happened in the investigation of the little boy who vanished on the day his science project was shown in school? His stepmom was being heavily investigated. I never heard the outcome.
  14. You can buy fluorescent paint that sprays downward for ground marking to do this. It's typically used for marking gas or water lines, etc. before digging. It will not wash away when it rains, but it will eventually "grow out" as the grass grows.
  15. Yikes! A 5.6, a 3.4 and a 2.7 all centered in Oklahoma on the same day. They were felt as far away as Texas and Tennessee.
  16. Yes, a couple of friends in Kansas posted about it on FB.
  17. I have no idea what "Club Dallas" is referring to, so I can't help with that. However, I do want to point out that Dallas has had a teen dance club in the past. It was located in the Paulding Plaza. By the time it opened I was past 18 years old and had no interest in it, so I never went to check it out.
  18. This is exactly what happened in Denver a few days ago. They typically get snow, but not so early that the trees still have their leaves. They had a lot of power outages.
  19. Sometimes the driver will get out and try to run on foot. I wonder if this might have happened?
  20. I am sending you a PM for more information.
  21. The woman could have been at the CVS at such a late hour to have a medication filled for a sick child or she could have been someone who works in civil services (police, fire, emt, hospital etc.) on 2nd shift. I worked 2nd shift for a couple of years at Cobb Hospital. When the shift ended our department left in a GROUP walking through the parking lot, simply for safety reasons. This was many years ago and I can only imagine how much worse the area is now.
