  1. Does anyone know what Pat's Apparel charge is to hem long pants? I have about 6 pair that need hemming (I am only 5'1"). Also, before I drive from East Paulding to Hiram Sudie, what are the shop's hours?
  2. I guess the triggers for adult asthma attacks can be different for everyone. Mine can be triggered by heat. The winter is when I have less problems unless I have been sick, then I have to be very careful because I have been prone to bronchitis since I was less than 5 years old. I couldn't even run laps in gym without later developing bronchitis, but I was not diagnosed with asthma until my 30s. Since the Primatene Mist inhaler is being discontinued as of this month, I switched to Ventolin HFA Rx inhaler. It works without giving me the shakes like the Primatene inhaler did. I've never taken
  3. No one answered my question. Does anyone know if this is effective immediately or is there another date set for the slower mail times to start? I think it would be strange for it to be effective immediately 2.5 weeks before Christmas.
  4. I have inlaws in Minnesota, it already takes them a week to receive a simple card sent by regular mail from Dallas, Ga. I guess we will have to start sending those out 2 weeks ahead of time. Never mind the Christmas slow down. Is the USPS making this effective immediately right before their huge Christmas rush?
  5. There are actually 3 pics of the snake from this story. Here is a link to see the other pictures. Three pics of the snake.
  6. Maybe the OP could post an address for the lights? It would be much easier to find by using GPS that way.
  7. First Baptist Church
  8. The Kindles that have this capability, is it only the new models? I have the DX which was a gift last year.

    Snowing

Some people, like myself, are NORMALLY awake all night regardless of the weather. Not everyone is a day person. However, since I am awake it wouldn't hurt to run and look out the window!
  10. I promise I haven't been watching! LOL Do you have a Garden Ridge store nearby? I have seen dark blue skirts with silver snowflakes in Garden Ridge. Garden RIdge also has trees of just about every color you can think of. At Kmart I have seen light blue skirts with silver snowflakes on them. It may save you the trouble of sewing one.
  11. A blue and silver snowflake tree skirt would go GREAT with this! Awww hun you are pregnant and alternating between nesting, feeling like you are about to explode with frusteration or anger and possibly a few crying spells in between. Hang in there!
  12. Mine is up, but decorating will have to wait until this weekend.
  13. I also turned my air back on. Don't leave your heat off too long, because Wednesday night we are supposed to be back in the 30s. I predict a huge increase in sick people from our area next week.
  14. LOL It's a bucket list of a different kind!
  15. If you can get your doctor to actually prescribe (in writing) using a hot tub for treatment, then you may be able to deduct some of the cost on your Federal taxes as medical expenses. Ask a tax advisor and find out positively, but I know that several years ago it was set up that way.
  16. Yum! Jif on oatbread with blackberry jam and a big glass of milk! Nutella is good too but I like it on vanilla wafers or graham crackers.
  17. LOL Good luck with your "investment!" One of the world's most expensive coffees is made from poo. "Kopi luwak (Malay pronunciation: [ˈkopi ˈlu.aʔ]), or civet coffee, is one of the world's most expensive and low-production varieties of coffee. It is made from the beans of coffee berries which have been eaten by the Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus) and other related civets, then passed through its digestive tract ..." "Kopi luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world, selling for between US$100 and $600 per pound.[1] The specialty Vietnamese weasel coffee, which is
  18. Asparagus! I hate the way it smells, taste, sits on my tummy, etc. Some think I am crazy for this 2nd one but I also hate lobster, crab and salmon. Yuck! I don't like the way they taste or smell. I will eat popcorn shrimp and some types of fish, but I am mostly a beef or chicken type of person. Add crawdad's and spicy creole food to the do not like list. The weird thing is that otherwise I am not that much of a picky eater. I will like or love just about every fruit, vegetable or nut known to man, including broccoli or bean sprouts!
  19. Maybe some stores want to start Sunday sales before the holidays get here?
  20. This is wonderful news! I am glad that you are doing so well and I will be praying for a quick recovery/healing time. Sending you a hug.
  21. This is it. Safety 1st Glow & Go Monitor. It was on her registry, but she hasn't opened it or used it yet. So I have no idea if it works very well. It is $34.99 at BabiesRUs. It also shows the room temperature. http://www.toysrus.c...oductId=3811068
  22. I agree, that is awesome Janko! Can you give us some links to these survey sites? A few to get us started?
  23. Is this her first baby? If so then EVERYONE with babies will need a good baby monitor. I got my cousin one with a 400 ft range, 2 extensions and push button night lights built in.
  24. The end of the article stated that authorities were waiting on autopsy results to determine any possible charges. I didn't read anything in the article that stated she was obese. She was 74 and had a stroke.
