  1. I wonder if a local herbal store will have it yet? Ibuprofen (Advil) is prescribed in ER's in a high dose for some types of pain. If she doesn't have any liver, kidney or blood pressure problems maybe it would help? I have been given up to 800mg doses every 8 hours before, BUT I wouldn't do this if she has other medical problems, or as a long term solution. I've had chronic pelvic pain since I was 13 so I understand.
  2. I wonder if the Paulding Health dept. can help? I know years ago they offered exams, treatments and birth control at rates according to your income.
  3. Prayers said for AGG & Amy. I really hope Amy's babies don't lose their Mom.
  4. Thank you RC & Boss. Now if I can just find it! I swear you just about need a dang map or chart to get around P.com.
  5. Hey thank you! Did you see at the bottom of the page they have a "long reach bug vac"?! WTH! I still use a paper towel and they either get thrown outside, thrown down the toilet, thrown in the trash, or their bug guts get squished and cleaned up with one! LOL
  6. RC, I asked this same question once months ago and no one ever answered me either.
  7. Don't feel alone. I remember that recording very well and went long before it was 2.50. Mom started taking us when I was like 6 or 7 I think? The couple who owned it her name is Wanita. She always had a smile on and would remember me even into my 20s. Remember the old ice cream parlor? Xenon pinball was my favorite to play in there, but they also had the "new" MsPacman too! LMAO
  8. There is no smog alert today. I pay attention to them because even with a nasal steroid plus zyrtec everyday, during the smog days I usually need my inhaler too.
  9. Isn't this store near where the hit & run happened last week? There is a thread about it somewhere in this forum.
  10. Maybe this will help. http://helenchamber.com/ We are thinking about going for Oktoberfest too.
  11. I had a feeling people would start purposely catching the swine flu this way. They don't realize this is exactly the type of situation that can cause the virus to "mutate" quickly into a stronger strain. Then our Tamiflu may not help at all!
  12. My liver and kidney enzymes are tested every 6 months at my rheumatologist's office. So far I have never had a problem and I take the ibuprofen with a ton of other medications. Now aspirin on the other hand will kill my stomache with 1 or 2 doses. It actually makes me hurt! I guess it just depends on the person.
  13. Cool! Do you know the manufacturer's name or web address?
  14. I haven't even taken Tylenol since I was 14. At 14 my doctor put me on ibuprofen when it was a prescription. I've been taking it ever since. Some Excedrin formulas contain caffeine. Usually their headache formulas do.
  15. If you click on that snopes link above and read it, it states that these emails are a hoax. In 2007 the FTC decided that those who have signed up on the "do not call list" WILL NOT EXPIRE. You can change your mind about your # and have it added or removed from the list, but those already on the list will not expire.
  16. Good night & sweet dreams HP & all. I am going to play games. Have a good day tomorrow. Later!
  17. Cool deal! Sorry didn't mean to sound like I was preaching.
  18. As long as you aren't driving while drinking? Even if you aren't worried about yourself you could kill or maim for life another person, even a child. When I was 14-15 my now exstepfather was a sargent with the DUI task force in Cobb. I seen so many pictures of wrecks and their results. Not that he purposely showed me, but I was curious. Then his best friend and partner was killed during a chase with a man who turned out to be DUI. It happened on 41 at 92 in Acworth. The DUI hit the patrol car and the patrol car exploded with his best friend inside. He was killed instantly and only his skeleton
  19. That's familiar. Without meds my hubby has seen me awake for 43 hours on NO sleep. It's horrible. Too tired and "zombie like" to get anything done but can't get to sleep or stay asleep. 2dogs you really need to see a doctor before it affects you at school or with driving. I worry about you and HP sometimes.
  20. HIYA ALL! Wtg SS on finishing your painting! I do a lot of that around here and I know how sore it can make you. One room will send me into a fibro flare up for a week usually. Congrats on finishing your car HP. Also interrupted sleep IS a FORM of insomnia, there are several types. The chronic nightmares are also a type of sleep disturbance. I have them too. They seem very real and vivid, and I usually wake up with heart pounding. I also have done a little research/reading on insomnia and sleep clinic testing/study that helps to understand the different types of sleep problems. Personally
  21. Don't worry 2dogs you will understand the Paulding speak soon. My hubby grew up in Minnesoooota with a mom who grew up Canadian and he understood me "for the most part" instantly. Now some things like billfolds/wallets, chester drawers/dressers, cokes/sodas, etc. that took a little time for him and he is a smart man. LOL
