  1. Is it an indoor pool? I've tried to do a white pages search to get a phone number and map, but I can't find it. Can you tell me where it is on Mars Hill? I am very close to Mars Hill at Lost Mountain. TIA
  2. 78 is unbelievably hot for me. How can you stand it? My insomnia is worse if the indoor temp is over 70. Ours is 70 during the day and 68 at night during the summer. During the winter it goes to 66 at night. I think our last bill was $180 and we were changed to digital a couple of months ago with Greystone.
  3. I would think that you will need to provide proof with a filed police report.
  4. Hiya! Physically not so good. We had to cancel our plans for meeting my Dad and other family at Lake Weiss. Other than that we are fine. Thank you for asking. How are you doing? Did you go sing tonight?
  5. Here. I took a nap before the neighbors started the fireworks. So now I am tired but awake. Hiya all.
  6. Tequila or vodka for me as I am allergic to beer! That's on the rare occasion that I have a drink as I take meds for various health problems.
  7. You can go see one from once a week to once a month, more or less, depending on what type of pain you have and how severe it is. A chiropractor performs an adjustment, which is basically popping joints and vertebrae back into place. There are 2 types of chiropractic adjustment that I know of. One is manually, where the chiropractor uses their hands to adjust you. Another is by an "activator" method. An activator is like a little hand held pressure gun. The pressure is adjustable and not scary or painful. It is used on each of your areas that the chiropractor determines is out of place to
  8. I would say see a chiropractor on a regular basis as it sounds like a pinched sciatica (nerve that runs from low back down through the legs). When mine gets really bad I can hardly walk, much less make it down my split foyer stairs and leave the house. I have also done the "freeze thing" even while standing in a checkout line, meanwhile I can't breathe and have tears in my eyes because the pain is so bad, so I do know what you mean. Yes, stretching the low back & upper legs will also help. My chiropractor for years is Dr. Moyher at Dallas Chiropractic. In addition to adjustments she also h
  9. I am still here. Having a hard time finding sleep tonight.
  10. Meanwhile the original drag strip was being used when it closed a few years ago and is still sitting here empty.
  11. I have traveled alot with hubby and I would have to say Colorado ties with Hawaii. Maui has mountains with snow, beaches, misty rainbows, a rain forest and even a rocky barren desert that looks like red rock from mars. Colorado has Aspen which is gorgeous year round, the beautiful state parks to drive through, beautiful views from mountain tops and the best tasting straight from the faucet drinking water that I have ever tasted. Apparently their reservoir in Denver is at the base of a mountain where it catches the melting snow runoff.
  12. If you want to win tokens and enter them into prizes drawings, or win jackpots, then go to pogo.com and sign up. They have a TON of games in all types with chat in each game room. It's $40/year (almost free) and that's it. My hubby pays more than that at a gamesite that is only 1 game and no prizes.
  13. Shooting a gun in a subdivision is ILLEGAL unless it is for self defense. I believe this also applies to anywhere inside city limits. If you have fireworks that go up in the air then a good idea is to spray your roof down with water first, just in case. IE: my husband, the part-time hobbiest pyromaniac LMAO (Yes, I noticed that the thread is 2 years old too. )
  14. I am so happy to hear that it isn't serious or an infection of any kind.
  15. Thank you I needed that because I was wondering about friday.
  16. Do they have physical therapy in that building? I am looking for a physical therapist. My rheumatologist is sending me to one for my hip pain and low back pain.
  17. In Hiram, Holiday Inn Express & Country Inn & Suites. Both have meeting/party rooms and I know Country Inn & Suites have kitchens in them. I am not sure if Holiday Inn Express has kitchens in theirs. In 2000 we rented and got married at the Hiram community center behind the police department and beside of the Hiram post office. Beautiful inside, but it is probably booked. Family that came into town stayed at the Holiday Inn or the Country Inn & Suites. I actually seen the meeting/party rooms in the Country Inn & Suites and at that time they had kitchens. There is
  18. In Gatlinburg the aquarium and Log Cabin Pancake House are great! If you are going to be there the night of the 3rd - the day of the 4th then you can see the midnight 4th of July parade in Gatlinburg. It's an old tradition of having "the 1st 4th of July parade" by having it at midnight! Awesome fudge there on main in Gatlingburg. Pigeon Forge to me seems like it is mostly shopping and places to eat, but Dixie Stampede is supposed to be really great. I haven't been to it yet. The night of the 4th of July Dollywood puts on a great fire works show and you don't have to be in the park to see
  19. Holy cow! That's almost as bad as drinking pickle juice!
  20. OUCH! You are right that isn't heat rash. I have been pulling up lots of online pictures since seeing your pic. Most seem to come from dermatological online pages. It could be folliculitis from poorly disinfected pools or hot tubs, but to me it looks like some form of fungus. Many types can easily be caught from towels, gyms, pools etc. during the summer. Either way take him to see your doctor! I wish you the best of luck hun.
  21. It could just be heat rash.
  22. Hey! I am only 10 years older than you! You will soon see that 10 years isn't such a big gap anymore.
  23. Oh yeah. It was SUPPOSED to be a deterrent to the cruising but that didn't happen. Everyone just hung out in the parking lots for another decade! There was nothing else to do other than the movies unless you drove to Austell or Douglasville. I suppose we've hijacked the topic enough. Sorry OP.
  24. You can also buy prepaid VISA or MasterCards at just about any bank for a small fee. I know Bank of America offers them.
