CC for those who want to play but do not know where the building is you may want to post a location address in this thread. If it doesn't roll over from Friday's drawing then I will try to drop off my $10 on Saturday or Sunday. Good luck to all.

NC you are gorgeous! Natural blonde here too or was until my mid 30s when it started turning dark blonde with gray (hormones maybe?), so I had to start using coloring and highlights. I stick pretty close to what was my original natural color. I have been told that with reds over blonde you have to be careful or it will turn out strawberry blonde, especially with fading over time. Ironically my husband prefers reds so recently I had considered it for a little while before deciding against it. I think JLH gave some good advice but how does he know so much about female hair coloring? LOL Find a t

Rubbing alcohol, hair spray, mineral spirits and paint thinner are ALL flammable regardless of whether the dryer is electric or gas. SO after using dry off any excess, maybe go over the area with plain water and leave the dryer door open for a few hours, just in case.

I am thinking Cupid is delivering Valentine's Day a little early this year to some folks.

Oh this is sad! I am so sorry Tara. I will pray for peace and strength for you and the family, and that Shannon will have a painless and peaceful journey. Sending you hugs.

Is it just nausea and vomiting or are some having diarrhea as a main symptom? I am wondering if this is what was wrong with me last week.

Rain/sleet mix late tonight and tomorrow. Hubby is in NC this week, weekend and next week for work. They may get a couple of inches of sleet/freezing rain over 2 days and he is insisting on driving to work in it over the weekend. Ick!

Awww that is very sweet! If you are able to go home to her every night after work then count yourself lucky. Not everyone has a job that enables them to do that or feels like they want to go home to their spouse. You are VERY blessed.

Yes Stephen King and Koontz are great. Stephen King's books ALWAYS have more intensity and detail than his movies in my opinion. I had never read him until I married my hubby and he has quite a few of SK's books.

Holy crap this gave me a headache. I think I will turn out the light now. -

Even larger size E readers (for books) are about $500, so that isn't a bad price for the Ipad. Do the Ipad's provide an access to memory cards or thumb drives? Maybe this will be my present for Christmas 2010?

I have a question that might be laughed at by some.....

SoapMom, very good answer. Once again we agree. I too have never seen something that could be described as "BigFoot" but I have had a couple of very strange paranormal experiences that seemed to be meant for me. So like you I would never laugh at someone who was genuinely honest in their claims. OP, would you please PM me your story and what area it happened to you in? I feel you are very couragous in posting this thread, more so than I. -
LMAO! Out of the mouths of babes.

Will either side be non-smoking?

Kim, call the billing dept. and ask if they can divide part of it up for you over the next billing period. They might.

My hubby told me about this software just tonight. He says he really likes it and it always finds something, but he is just using the free version. You can probably download it at CNET.com if you can't at the above website given. I have been using Spybot for years but lately it isn't finding anything. So I think I will download the freeware version of Malwarebytes and see if I like it.

The low temperatures were in the teens here for almost 2 weeks. We have gas heat, hot water and cooking. So I am expecting the gas to be high. However, we keep the temp at 66 in the winter, 70 in the summer. At 68 and above I will be wearing almost nothing and sweating just trying to do normal housework no matter what time of year it is.

Maybe once a week you could announce/post your weekly specials on here?

Actually it is typical for this to happen to a woman as we age according to my doctor. Also the bones of the feet do not completely fill in or harden until about age 17. One of my stepsisters needed surgery on her feet before the age of 10, but her doctors made her wait until she became an adult so that her growing and bone hardening would be finished. At 19yrs old I was size 7 regular width. Over the years I have gradually went up in size until now, at age 40, I am an 8-8 1/2 wide. No kids to blame it on. Also, I use to be able to wear boots, spiked heels etc. I can't do that now, but I h

OMG, thank you for the link! That looks pretty easy. I will try that too.

Nope they aren't meant to come off. I think they must superglue them on! I tried what you are doing when I first got mine because I wanted to fill it with a disinfecting solution but couldn't get it open. Since then they now make a disinfecting solution for one of the refills (the citrus). They also now make a solution for wood floors.

Yep same here. If it's usable, but I can't use it, then I hold on to it until I can donate it with other items. I also agree on the shredding. We have 3 shredders in different rooms. One of them will also do CD's and another will also do credit cards, old insurance cards, etc. If it has ANY pertinent information on the document then it gets shredded in our house. As for workers pulling copper wiring off old appliances or saving items that they can use, I say go for it. One man's trash may be another man's treasure. As long as it gets used then I don't see why it should be a big deal.

We had a TON of robins in our front yard yesterday. I told hubby I thought it was because we have so many earthworms in our yard after it rains. After a hard rain there will literally be dried worm "jerky" all over our driveway because they are looking for dry ground and get stuck on the driveway. When is the right time to apply pesticide for grubs? We have a problem with them too and I need to do that this year.
