Almost finished! Only a couple more things to buy!! I always have it done by Thanksgiving and wrapped. This year I started shopping in January. I prefer to enjoy the holidays and not have to fight the crowds doing last minute shopping.

This past weekend we rented a huge cabin in Blue Ridge and had 16 of my husbands family members down from New England. We had our Christmas party. I did all the food. Most of it I made Thursday night and carried up in coolers. I purchased a ton of those disposable pans from Sams and used those to store the food. I also took a huge basket filled with all kinds of snacks. This was my first time hosting a get together with this many people and it went off without a hitch. They were able to come and relax for the weekend and didn't have to worry about a thing! Here was our menu: Friday N

Get posterboard and paint Cooking with kids is always fun- you can let her help you mix cupcakes and then let her frost and decorate Plant some kind of seeds in a flower pot with her- teach her to water it and watch it grow

I have not been to Atlantic City but I do love Vegas!! I have stayed at New York New York and The Hotel (that is the name) at Mandalay Bay. I prefer The Hotel. The pool there is awesome! Nobu is one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas. Mix is also another great restaurant. Rain nightclub was a blast! Great place to unwind with your friends! ~Enjoy

I vote towels or nice sheets. You can never have enough of those. My best friend gave us a really nice picnic basket. It was a lovely gift! I also really liked my engraved door knocker thing with my new last name! I say shy away from picture frames and photo albums. We received too many to count!!
