Looks like there will be some pretty good new shows coming out this fall on TV. I am hoping that Vegas and Last Resort will be good shows. I hate getting involved in a show only to have them turn around and cancel it halfway through the season.

Your right it has doubled. But the fact that you say it has doubled means it dropped half of what it is now. If it had not dropped like it did a few years ago our 401k plans would not have lost value and would be worth more then they are today. If the market had remained stable we would have made a lot more money then we did. It is simple economics. We made less money while the market was low then we would have had the market remained the same. But the question is are you better off. Peoples house are worth much less then they were 4 years ago. If you own a home and have a retirement account you are not better off...period. Your home has lost value and your retirement 401k has lost value. Also unless you changed jobs to a higher paying job or your employer has given you a significant pay raise to compensate for the cost of living increase you are not better off. Is that the governments fault or just the natural course of event? Only you can decide that.

Not finding any does not mean they never existed. I guess the UN sent inspectors there because they had nothing better to do. I really don't see why people blame GWB, he basically did everything the Democratic Congress wanted him to do. Then they blame him because things did not turn out the way they wanted. That is my biggest complaint, he never vetoed a single bill until 5 years into his term and it was for stem cell research. All he did was approve spending bill after spending bill all sent to him from a Democratic Congress. Then people complain and say he took us down the wrong road. You mean the road the Democrats asked him to go down? :unsure: They should be happy he did what they wanted.

What is the ad valorem tax based on? What location you reside in within the county or is it the same rate for all county residence? I got my statement in the mail and it says that because I recently moved they can not tell me how much I have to pay this year so I have to go down there? I was under the impression that it was the same no matter where you lived in the county so just because I moved that should not change the amount I owe since I am still in Paulding county.

Not sure how that relates to a rock station but we all have our crutch to bare. We get subjected the NPR at my work early in the AM on Mondays when they test the PA system. Maybe it is because I have never really listened to it but the 20 minutes I am forced to listen to is not all that bad. But then I really don't cared for talk radio no matter what the format is. Honestly I have pretty much given up on radio all together. Thank goodness for Pandora.

You can touch it up should not be an issue plus if you hang the picture in the same spot it will not be noticeable If you just finished painting you should let the paint cure for at least a week before hanging anything that holds to the paint. That is just my advice and experience, your mileage may vary.

Fact is the FairTax would solve that problem. But for now the IRS can just spend their time going after the people who don't file income tax returns or cheat on their returns to get move money they they actually paid.

But increasing taxes on companies is not going to break the circle. It will only force more of them out and more money leaving. The only way to increase wages is to sell your products for a higher price and/or lower your overhead costs. Only way to lower your overhead cost is to lower wages/benefits or buy your goods where it is cheaper, overseas, so that option is out. So their only recourse to paying higher wages is to raise the consumer price which will basically neutralize anyone's wage increase. And all business would have to do the same raise in the consumer price in or
