On all the research I did , the plasma could be a problem. I went with the 46 inch Sony Bravia LCD HDTV that was the most up to date specs. at the time. For three years, it was great and then it started having double-image on the right side of the screen. It would go away after about 20 minutes. I asked Best Buys about it and they said they never heard of that. I helped a relative get a 46 inch Samsung and they really like it. Next time, I will consider the Samsung LCD. I don't know if I need a 52 inch.

They both started with good pilots. Will the next shows be as interesting? Scoundrels is more predictable and Gates has more hidden secrets that could create more mystery.

We bought a Toro and it has been the best mower we have ever owned. It is self-propelled, not too heavy , easy to take care of and does the job. I bought it from Home Depot for around $300. All the cheap ones I bought before always seemed to have problems.

During the heavy rain last night, we noticed that there was a tiny drip of rain coming down the wall, above the window, of our family room, . It is below the living room and right below the chimney. The chimney was dry and the wall and floor around it appeared dry. I don't know if it is water coming in from outside the window sill or is it from the lining around the chimney. We had a new roof put on in Dec. and they had to come back to work on the edges around the chimney where they broke off the wood. I am not sure if they did it right or not and the water may be coming in there and go

Which school? I should clarify that NPHS and HHS have already announced their results. The present EPHS director takes everyone whether they can play or not. I haven't heard anything from PCHS or SPHS.

I thought it would be at six also.

Very good points! Teachers may lose houses, quit eating out, not shop unless really needed. They should stop spending their money at school for supplies and do without.

We have not gone to New York in many years and the hotel we stayed in , the Sheraton New York Towers, is now very expensive booking straight through them. Did you book the trip through an agency or through a discount web-site or on you own? If a web-site, which one? Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

But has qualified is he? He apparently has worked his way up in Paulding Co. in a few years. What has he done to show he can handle the issues?

Schools may be prohibited from getting early August start
edu replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
The calender further shows lack of foresight and leadership in the county office. It carries from the board office down through the schools. I have voiced my opinion on some of these issues to a few people at the board office and I heard of no discussion or change. -
We got a small "disc" of cornbread. The man next to us asked his waitress what it was supposed to be. It was about the size of a silver dollar and slightly thicker.

We are still in the winter season. We should have cold temps and everything that goes with it for at least another month.

I was on a statin and then the heart surgeon put me on Crestor. My doctor took me off of it right away.

I noticed that there is a "comfort food" restaurant next to the Krystal on "Hamburger Row". (I guess I can't say the name.) Does anyone know how the food is there especially breakfast?

This is a little different but the school should have asked for a medical release and allowed the girl to continue playing. That would have been the fair and legal thing to do. The school has done its job and the rest is up to the parent. You can't dictate some things to parents and they can take legal action.

Roll Tide! Ingram looked good and McLeroy really surprised me and Fl. Roll Tide! Keep rolling toward Pasadena and forever. Bear would be happy.

No! If anything, I think more should be done but from what I have witnessed, the fights have been going on and many times, very little can be done or is done.

At Moses MS two weeks ago, a girl was beat up with about three other girls involved. They planned it and chose a place that could be seen on the security cameras. I heard that the parents may be taking some action. At EPMS, a few years ago, a group of students surrounded a fight so that the teachers could not get to it to break it up. Nothing happened to the students helping with this. This is all gang mentality that the schools can not do much about. They can only punish the one student doing the hitting. The fights at school go back in history. It is part of being at school.

The Homestead used to have great pinto beans and good salad bar. The steaks were okay. I didn't know it was still open. They had a big problem with roaches. I didn't know it closed.

I would call Ragsdale first unless someone on here shoots them down.

We ate there tonight. The baked chicken was good and veggies were fine overall. The service was excellent. My wife especially liked the dessert bar. We are trying the breakfast next.

There is a national chain, buffet style restaurant in Hiram. How is it?

Where do you walk around here for exercise? The doctors say to stay off of sidewalks and asphalt.
