Can you recommend a great Paulding hair salon?
MissSophie replied to wedn03's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Stylists! Can I suggest what not to do. There is one salon already mentioned on here where the person doing my hair always had family come in, including kids, that were obnoxious. I had a kid beg and cry to "wash" my hair. This was a child; not a teenager. Same person always had someone come up while doing my hair with some gossip! When I am in your chair, I expect you to pay attention to me. It is ok to excuse yourself sometimes for something that comes up but don't handle your mom, your kids, your sister-in-law and the local gossip mongers from the church while I am your customer. -
Something On The View (TV Show) Raised My Suspicion
MissSophie replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
my mom called it either a "pudder" (pronounced similar to pudding) or a twat. You guys make me laugh!! She called a penis a "guy". A little off the subject; when oldest daughter was in grade school, they cut out pictures from magazines that were donated by parents for learning words. Ball was for "B", etc. A nasty magazine got in there and my daughter proudly presented "penis" to her teacher for the letter "p". -
Of course my family is grown now, but crock pot dinners are so great for the busy family with a tossed salad on the side. I like to google recipes on internet and found some great ideas. I recently found one for crock pot mac and cheese. I haven't tried it yet but imagine that adding ground beef would be great. When the gang comes over, I like to make beef stroganoff using the slow cooker recipe packet from McCormick. We then serve it over noodles. Last week we made Hawaiin (sp) meatballs in crock and served over rice. It was a hit! Make pasta sauce in large quantities and fre

Are You Super Organized, Challenged, Or ...?
MissSophie replied to ButterflyLion's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thank you for introducing this. I am very interested. I was once very organized. When I retired, I found that I didn't have to have a schedule; I had all the time in the world. Therefore almost nothing gets done. I need this to redirect my life from an office to a home full time. And I really need help with scheduling. Thanks again. -
I am soooo glad you posted this. I lived in E cobb and I know my son played baseball with a "Tritt". I think they were on the same team. (The Pirates. They had black jerseys with yellow print and I clearly remember Tritt on one of those little shirts. ) I lived very very close to Post Oak Tritt

Well, my DD has been on numerous tv shows; mostly talk shows; performed at the Tony's, performed on Food Network and national morning news shows. She won a national beauty pageant as a senior in high school (NO swim suits); she won talent title plus national title which paid for her college. She has played on Broadway many, many times and starred on Broadway a few times. She is the frequent understudy for a famous actress. She is also a back up singer for the same famous actress regularly though she has taken time off to get married and spend time with new husband. It is most exc

That is exactly what I said when I heard about it -
Honey Boo Boo night Air the show and have a food special. What a hoot that would be!!

She is my "SHE-RO".

That is a refreshing view point. I watch occasionally and I really hate how mothers bad mouth other kids. The boo boo show is not to my liking but let's face it; it is a hilarious spoof on the pageants. And I agree that money is probably a good incentive.

I have them only occasionally. But since I can recognize them; I just begin deep breathing. Traffic was a catalyst for me;; it wasn't fear, but all the activity at lights and all the lanes. I had to pick a point and concentrate. But anyway, no longer much of a problem. But medication is very helpful

I do not care for the beers that add flavors to get the beer vs. hard liquor products. Let us know what you think. I used to work for the company that provides the flavors for those beers so they were promoted within our business but I didn't like it.

This has happened several times and the contract is almost always signed. They negotiate down to the bitter end. My doctor's also felt it would be signed.

I broke my ankle 5 years ago. I HATE casts and there were times that I would have sawed it off my leg if I could have. The itching drove me crazy. But I found that if you use a metal skewer, you can insert in inside the cast and scratch the problem areas. Of course I did not tell the doctor but I swear it is the only thing that got me through it.
