Started my Amish Friendship Bread" starter.

This is my first fall as a retired person. I love it so much. When I worked; I got up and left when it was chilly; came home when it was getting chilly; did not experience the midday perfection. Now that I have discovered fall, all I want to do is bake breads and make soups. My daughter and grandchildren are in hog heaven; I cant stop. I keep baking and freezing or giving away! Considering my size; I need to take up crafts!

I just tried taco soup for the first time 2 weeks ago. I now have some in my freezer. It is so delicious. I served mine with cheese, sr cream and white corn chips. It was wonderful. oh, those all sound wonderful! I know food should not be my comfort; but today it is! I am so sorry to hear that. Just remember that each time you go into an interview; pretend it is the very first one you have done rather than the tenth time. Keep trying. Pull up the bootstraps; yet one more time. When you get knocked down, get back up! Keep us posted.

Pumpkin Pie Cake - very, very easy and delicious We have it every year Pumpkin Pie Cake – Easy and very, very moist DO NOT GREASE PAN 375 degrees 2 15 oz cans of pumpkin (don’t use the spiced pumpkin mix, just the pumpkin) 1 cup sugar 1 lg can evaporated milk (about the size of a soup can) 3 eggs 1 te. Cinnamon 1 te. Ginger ¼ te. Nutmeg ¼ te. Cloves ¼ All spice Mix all of above and put into a 9 x 13 pan Top with a yellow cake mix (dry, straight from box) Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over the top About 45 min. Serve with Co
