The SPLOST they are referring to has already passed.

Normal....most apologies and regret comes after someone is caught doing something stupid. -
That only shows persons sentenced to the state prison system. It does not show pre-trial or county sentenced inmates.

You should probably thank the lazy employee who is trying to avoid extra work when you get the free sauce.

True..the speed itself does not kill, the conditions it creates does. Decreased visibility Increased stopping distance Decreased reaction time Greater crash severity Lessened accident avoidance capabilities

Most officers don't stop until 16 over so logically the majority of citations fall in that range.

It is hard to find halfway decent fast food fried chicken. I started cooking it myself using an Alton Brown pan fried recipe. Tastes 100X better and it is cheap to make.

Route 61 BBQ has some great catfish...$9.99 for AYCE.

Nope...it is tradition.

Before we have another 'prayers requested' thread

The answer...make people work to get a license instead of just passing them out after a few formalities. Increase the violations that suspend on the first offense for young drivers. The fear of not having a license is a great deterent. Society has to change. Too many people view driving as a joke and do not accept the responsibility that comes behind the wheel. If people put as much time into accepting personal responsibility as they do complaining about enforcement of the law and trying to get away with something our roads would be a much safer place. LOL....yes...the freaking landing strip is 'up and running'. The support buildings that accompany the pavement is what completes the package and makes a functioning airport.

I do not think you will find many private companies who are willing to respond for free to every medical related 9-1-1 call unless they receive some sort of subsidy. It is not a big deal for the government because the taxes already pay for that service, private industry has to charge someone to cover the operating costs. That leaves two options, every time the 9-1-1 dispatcher sends the ambulance then someone is getting a bill for the run. The other is you only send FD on the initial complaint and FD requests the ambulance on an as needed basis after clarifying it is a paid service. O

Pretty funny that so many want to criticize an airport for lack of traffic when the facilities are still under construction.
-
Pilots aren't the only people who search for airports.
-
Because the original sign said something like Paulding NW Regional Airport...the official name was later changed to add Atlanta to signify the geographic location so "Regional Airport" was changed to "Atlanta Airport" on the sign.
-
That actually gives this county some potential for attracting business which will supplement the tax base which is something that has plagued the county for decades.
-
The name is idenifying the airport is in the Atlanta region which gives those unfamilar with the area a geographic location to reference the airport to.

If the driver was not charged then there was no evidence to point to him being criminally responsible. That will create an uphill battle but it does not prevent a claim from being filed and fault possibly being decided in civil court. If your brother ends up being clearly at fault I would not expect a payout from the drivers insurance. I am surprised you have not heard from them because they usually do their own investigation in high liability cases.
-
Yup...before I potentially slandered someone I would have concrete facts.

LOL at some of the comments...the county gets a pretty big return on the investment. They are able to contract a private EMS company to respond to every medical related 9-1-1 call for a fraction of the price it would cost the taxpayers to fund a county EMS integrated with the FD. Clark's does not charge the patient for run unless they are physically transported to the hospital. The residents of this county use EMS daily for a variety of services and incur no charges beyond what they pay in taxes.

Door to door solicitation is not against the law....I don't know what people think "calling the police" is going to accomplish.
