  1. That is actually who we use now. I really like him and my son LOVES him ( a little too much, he will purposely misbehave with the expectation of going to Dr. Russell's) I guess I felt like he wasn't aggressive enough. Like he saw my son acting like a total sweet heart in his office, and maybe thought I was exagerating my discription of his behavior at home and school. idk, it could just be me. Actually hearing you say that he did actually want to run tests on your daughter makes me feel a little better. We are going back next Thursday, and Thursday can't get here fast enough. My 5 year
  2. it's the park by my house. Where we had Hayden's first bday and the boys' last bday party.

  4. Whew! they are. per their website: All shuttle buses will operate from 8:30 A.M. to 6:30 P.M. on Saturdays and 8:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. on Sundays. Parking is very limited at the Lions Club Fairgrounds, so please use the shuttle parking areas where a free shuttle service will take you to the Apple Festival and back to your car when you are ready to leave. The shuttle parking areas are located at Gilmer High and Middle Schools, Ellijay Elementary and Primary Schools, and Mountainview Elementary School.

  8. Two of my best friends and I are going sunday. One of them went last weekend but had her daughter with her and wanted to go back kid free (it was too hot for the wee one and she was fussy the whole time) I looked on the website and they advertised the parking as free (with a suggested donation of $2) either way, I'm just looking foward to hanging out with my friends kid free!! lol Mommy needs a break! Plus it's only supposed to be 72 up there on sunday, so it will be a nice day.
  9. I haven't read all of these posts, but I will say I had one bad experience with Clark Ambulance....it was one particular person, and I didn't hold Sam Clark accountable for her actions....... When my brother and his girl friend passed away a few years later, Sam was amazing. Such a good man. My brother and GF passed away in a car accident and Sam allowed my family to come in the night of to see him. He even cried with us. a few days after, he came to my dad's house and sorted through some things with us (picturs, sympathy cards, etc.) that were still at the funeral home.
  10. It's a song and an old saying......I've always heard it growing up.

  17. I'm 12 years older than my half sister.....I wasn't thrilled about the idea..I wasnt' angry, just really not excited......that all changed when she was born. I absolutely adored her!! She was my little side kick...well until her teenage hormones kicked in.....now I'm not as cool to her anynmore. lol
  18. I'd walk over and say "Hey how are you? I just happened to noice your Smoke Alarm needs new batteries, and I just happened to have a spare pack of 9v's." If you smile the whole time, maybe they wont take it as being rude. You'd be suprised how many people just ignore it. I have an aunt and everytime I went over her house, for a year, that da** thing was beeping. I asked her how she could stand it and why she hasn't changed the battery yet, and she just said she is used to it, and doesn't notice it anymore.
  19. Hubby and I are so bummed....He was one of our favorites. I do believe I heard he was going through a divorce, and has a son......I couldn't imagine losing a parent, especially like that.
  20. Depending on what you are buying....ToysRUs has it for big ticket items only Sears has it, but as far as toys go....there isn't much I think Marshall's has it......but again, not much on toys. I wish Target and walmart would bring it back even if it's just for the holiday season..... I wonder when or how they'll post positions for the temporary locations....I would like to do some seasonal work for extra christmas money....but right now I don't see anything on their website for that; Just the perminant locations. Unless I'm overlooking.
  21. Doc said the first one would probably only be 8 lbs.....no....he was 10 lb 1.9 oz!!!! (9days late) and the second one was 9.7 oz (7 days early). I was sooooo big. I had at least one person ask me "how many babies you got in there?!" at least once a day.......just fyi people.....pregnant woman HATE it when you say that....it's rude. lol
