  1. No one famous, just some woman in NC. BUT just so happens that NC is one of the states that allows the wife to sue the mistress for having an affair with her husband, so she's facing a law suit right now.
  2. My link As many as 200 women, children, and even babies were gang raped in the congo. Rape is used as a weapon of war. And the poor people who endure that torture are kicked to the side by their people.....because it's "taboo". disgusting. It puts things into perspective......When we complain about it being too hot, or we don't like this, we don't like that......We could be living in place like that.
  3. I have two boys and reading this thread just killed my "baby fever" lol.
  4. thank you so much! My sister went when he was at the other location and loved it too. I am looking forward to giving it a try, especially since she offered to pay for me if I would go with her. lol.
  5. My sister wants me to start going to these classes at TNT in dallas with her in the morning before work. She says they are amazing, but I can't find a website or anything to see their schedule. Do any of you attend and know the class times? Do you know the website? TIA!
  6. withdrawals will only happen if you just stop taking cold turkey, or miss several doses. As long as you take it (anything) as directed, you wont experience them. As for side effects, I didn't really notice any when I took it.
  7. I don't take it anymore but when I did, I did great....unless you forget to take it reguarly....you'll have withdrawal symptoms. Have you missed any doses?
  8. I'm in the exact same boat. My son's bday is next month too. I think you can invite them, but depending on how many people you have coming to the party already, maybe you can just bring cupcakes to his class so he can celebrate with them there. That way it wont be too overwhelming for you at his bday party.
  9. I hate to say it, because I try to be open minded toward everyone (everyone that I can anyway) But 100%, I agree with you! When it comes to impalnting metal in your skin, down to those people tattoo the white of their eyes! it freaks me out a bit I must say. ugh.....whyyyyyy????? why would you do that? I dare not look at the link you posted!
  10. saline solution.........like a breast implant? he has a boob on his head!
  11. I don't know. it looks like a gigantic blister or something. eeewwww. it just looks like it would be painful.
  12. for something like a small memorial, yeah I do. as long as it's not an enforced law and it's not something huge and distracting. It's not a difficult concept. I don't understand why it's such a big deal.
  13. I guess I just don't see the problem. If it's not really an enforced law, and it's not hurting anyone. I'm not saying it's ok to do it in someones yard against their wishes, but on a streatch of road...................
  14. My link Look at the guy in the last picture......what can do that to your head and why is he smiling about it!? ugh. that made my skin crawl!
  15. I don't think so. People don't need them to remember. It's just comforting for some people to have somewhere to go. especially if the deceased person is cremated and their ashes weren't spread. That's just how some people grieve. That's like saying it would be offensive to keep pictures of the person that has passed or keep sakes even. And I myself wouldn't compare it to graffiti. In my mind, when I think graffiti, I think gang signs and tags, and offensive names and symbols. Not, RIP _________
  16. My brother and his Girlfriend died in a car wreck in 2007. Because my brother was cremated and his remaines stay with my dad (He contemplated leaving GA for a while, and the thought of "leaving my brother behind" was gut wrenching) Their friends wanted somewhere to go....so his girl friends parents had ceramic crosses made and put at the accident site. While visiting the crash site might not be some peoples thing, it was very much appreciated by their friends, because it is their thing. I see no problem with crosses and other religious signs like that. As long as it's not a huge collection of
  17. My son is 4 and LOVES to cook with me. I teach him what to do and when. Breading, marinating, stiring, baking, and all that good stuff. I don't just tell him what to do, I explain why you need to do it that way and it really keeps him interested. My dad did that with me as a kid, and I absolutly loved it.
  18. senior citizen???? One of the parents parent maybe?
  19. If Target would bring Layaway to their stores......They'd bring over even more of Walmarts customer base. A lot of people like to put their holiday shopping on layaway....since walmart took theirs away, we pretty much only have nasty ol' Kmart. I hate shopping a big K....it's old, it's nasty, and they have a crap toy selection. You can find some good stuff here and there, but overall, it's pretty bad. I love love love love Target. I could get everything on my christmas list there. Not to mention birthdays, baby showers, wedding showers, and all gift buying occasions.
  20. Oh NO!!!! I would be livid. they couldn't atleast call for someone to come pick the poor baby up? geez!
