  1. I had a couple of kids come to my house with some fundraiser packets on 9/30. I wasn't going to buy anything but one little boy (prob 6th grade) tugged on my heart strings when he pittifully said he hadn't sold anything yet because all the other neighborhood kids had hit all the other houses first (you should have seen the 6 kids running back and forth with their fundraiser packets....like chickens with their heads cut off! lol) anyway, I picked this stupid necklace that I don't even want for $14 and made the check out to Moses Middle School. that's been almost 3 weeks now. How long does i
  2. I didn't know we had one by the courthouse! I drive by there all the time. I should start paying attention I guess. lol
  3. Oh pleeeeeaaassseeee teacher her that before she leaves the nest! lol. I wish someone had sat down with me and "taught" me about balancing my check book and credit cards.....you would think it's common knowledge......I had to learn the hard way and I'm still paying for it. Same thing with the hubby. I actually had to teach him after I learned my lesson....and we're still paying for that too. on another note, the costume is super cute. I wouldn't worry about that on a 21 year old....she could have done worse. lol
  4. lol so should I pressure wash THEN sand? or sand THEN pressure wash?
  5. I know this is a weird time of the year for this project, but my front porch is terrible and I can't stand it anymore. I can't wait til spring to spruce it up. Sooooo....I was going to sand it down (splinters), clean it, and stain it. Hubby says we don't need to clean it, but we do need it pressure washed.....isn't that really the same thing, I mean serving the same purpose? I don't know what I'm doing but I don't want to pay anyone either. Can you give me some tips? I want to start this asap. Hubby keeps putting it off, but I know if I start it, he'll jump in and help me But I still
  6. no....I just like to try and understand the mind of a sicko... like if he has standards to his gross activity of choice. blah! it gives me chills just thinking about it.
  7. Shirts I wash every time, but pants I try to get two wears or so out of them before I wash them again.
  8. I think I went to school with Jared! I wonder why they aren't listed under Knuckle Up's website. they have the same logo's and stuff. thanks.
  9. wth?! I wonder if he will be a target in jail or if the other inmates will be scared of him...
  10. Look on Myfitnesspal.com they have a forum, and an entire catagory for recipes. it's a free website, and if you look on the food data base, you can enter whatever food you are planning on eating and see the calarie count, even for foods with no nutrition info, like fruit and veggies.
  11. It was hillarious. I only gagged twice! lol
  12. Anyone have the number for knuckle up fitness behind Pheonix bar & gril, or even know if they are open? I didn't have time to swing by this weekend and they are not listed under "locations" on their website. TIA
  13. Don't think about everything that needs to be done as a whole, Focus on one thing at a time. You'll get through it.
  14. I'll have to check that out. Thank you.
  15. Eww, not cinnamon! It makes me think of grocery stores in the fall when they put out huge boxes of cinnamon brooms that smell up the entire lobby and give me migraines! I'd say buy a can of Febreeze and just spray your house every other day.
  16. finally getting some MEEEE time. Saturday night, I'm going on a double date Sunday, me and two of my girl friends are taking a mini road trip to the Apple Festival in Ellijay. I don't really plan on buying any crafts, I'm just looking forward to friend time with no kids.
  17. I have been talking about putting my son in Martial Arts for a while because I keep hearing it's great for teaching kids dicipline and focus. I'm going to talk to McCleary Martial Arts this saturday to see if he will like it AND if we can afford it. And a couple other places too. I know I can't afford Pil Sung Do....they are $80 a month plus test fees starting at $45 depending on belt color. My dad says we should look into MMA because he doesn't think they focus on belts, so there wouldn't be any testing fees. Do any of you have kids in the MMA classes at Toe to Toe fitness or Al
