Now you are just putting more worries in the mothers head than there already are. The police are involved, and her mom has said she IS contacting the FBI. BP is right, this isn't a national story that we can all discuss the what if's about people we don't know. These are local children, can't we just pray and give well wishes for their safe return on this thread now?

That sounds like a pretty identafiable car. And they'll run low on money soon.....My bet is that they'll give in and come home. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and saying prayers. Has Shane had contact with his parents?

What kind of car are they driving? I know you said he just moved, do you know if they are still Ga tags, or if he has switched them to FL tags yet? Do you know if Starr had any cash she took with her, or does she have a bank account that the LE can moniter where she is conducting transactions?

I wonder where his parents live. I may have over looked this, but are there currently LE or family looking for them in Orlando?

She hasn't posted anything on FB yet. I don't have her #. Maybe the mom will be on shortly with a positive update. Fingers and toes crossed!

The sister posted that when they thought they found her, they didn't speak with Starr, they spoke with Shane. He stated they were in Orlando and he would bring her home. Starr and Shane never showed up and now they can't reach Shane either. Very scary situation. please send your prayers up!

Trying to find a pic that looked similar enough to what's on his face so I could show you guys. I looked up MRSA, Abscess, and Cellulitis (sp?)because the Dr. gave me info last night that included that) and the pictures gave me the creeps! Oh my goodness. I almost cried a little. I'm done looking. lol

I just did that after reading your suggestion. they said to still wait the 3 days because it takes that long for the antibiotics to really get in his system. thanks for the suggestion.

Well when I picked him up from school I thought i saw a little swelling, but just figured it was the lighting...then When I got home it was more apparent to me......I am not sure how long his face had been swollen before I had picked him up. By the time we got home from the ER at almost 11:00....It was def. bigger. thanks! I will.

That's what someone else just told me. She said her grand daughter had something that sounded similar and it turned out to be MRSA and they had to surgically remove it twice.

Yesterday morning I notices a small bug bite on my almost 2 year old's cheek. No biggie I thought. Last night after I picked my kids up and started making dinner, I looked across the kitchen and noticed my son's face looked really swollen on his left side. I felt his cheek and there was a nickle sized knot under the bug bite that I noticed earlier that morning. The bite itself is a pea sized red mark with a white dot in the middle. He doen't act like it hurts, but he does keep messing with it and scratching it. It looks like he has a peach tucked in his cheek like a squirl! I took him

In the post last week about the Marietta home where two little girls (160 lb 5 year old and the 81 lb 4 year old in diapers) and an elderly woman were removed....several of us had expressed curiosity about the inside of the house.....well here is a slide show. ew. Slideshow
