Anyone who can pass a background test and apply for a class III permit and pay a $100 tax for the transfer tax for the sale can buy a machinegun [50cal, 30 cal, M60 or even a 7.62 mingun.] from someone who already owns one. unfortuneatly the federal goverment has banned manufactors from selling any new weapons to the marketplace.
