I got on here to see if anyone had any update as to the baby's condition. I heard this on the scanner last night. The baby was unrestrained in the car. The officer said they were looking to see if there was a car seat but, apparently, there wasn't one. There is no excuse for not having your child in a proper safety seat!!! They said the baby had lacerations to the head. He was alert and crying. It sounded like they were airlifting him as a precaution just to make sure that there was no internal damage. I wonder where their parents are. I'd never let my child roam around in the middle of the night, or any other time of night for that matter. They might have snuck out while the parents were sleeping.

Since this happened in Cobb County, I went to the sheriff's department webb site and found out what the guy was charged with: speeding obstruction of a police officer x 2 attempt to elude driving on a suspended/revoked license possession of less than on ounce of marijuana driving on wrong side of road running a red light reckless driving He was also wanted by another police agency, and he's still in jail!!!

You are absoluely right about that!!! I know of a person who goes to about four or five doctors and uses the same amount of drug stores to get prescriptions filled. It's unbelievable!! I am a workers' comp adjuster and I see it everyday. They have these kind of operations all over Georgia.

I'd be really PO'd if someone messed up one of my cases by alerting the news without a valid reason. The sheriff's department should have been alerted first and, once it was confirmed that this guy was a PI, should have let the people involved know that it was nothing to worry about and not blown his cover. er I heard this on the scanner last night. It always scares me when they call for the helicopter. It's bad enought to be in an accident, but being pregnant makes it so much worse. My best friend was in a head-on collision when she was 5 months pregnant. Luckily, both she and her baby survived. The other driver was killed, and my friend is still suffering the physical pain and problems caused by the collision. God was certainly with your daughter last night. I'm so relieved to hear that she and the baby are going to be ok. God is good!!

Cayden did come home today!! He is just precious!! He sees the pediatrician on Monday and the pediatric cadiologist on Thursday. The cardiologist told my daughter to plan on being at the office for at least 2 1/2 hours. I have no idea what they will be doing for that long. I'm probably going to take the day off and go with her. I'll post an update after that visit.

We are very excited because my newest grandson will be coming home from Northside tomorrow morning. We also nervous because they detected a heart murmur and had a pediatric cardiologist take a look at him. He has narrowing of his aorta. Scared me to death when my daughter told me. The cardiologist said he just needs to be watched closely. There's a chance he will grow out of it and not need surgery. My daughter is very upset because she's afraid something will happen to him after he comes home. I tried to reassure her that he wouldn't be coming home unless the doctor felt it was ok

To me, all of those three are way too expensive. I do all my grocery shopping at Wal-Mart. Even though they are cheaper than the other three, they are still pretty expensive. It just seems like the price of everything goes up and up, and salaries remain the same.

He is an awesome doctor!! He didn't do the delivery. Dr. Walters did, and she was great, too!!! Dr. Robbins has the best bedside manner of ANY doctor I've ever been around. I could tell that he was a good person. He just seems so real and down to earth and has the greatest sense of humor.

Caden is amazing!!! He is breathing fine and eating a lot!!! Hopefully, he will be moved to the 7th floor. His nurse said that the NICU is for sick babies, and he's not sick. He's the sweetest thing. Caden is here!!! A whopping 6 pounds 6 ounces and 20 inches long. He's breathing on his own and has no problems whatsoever!!! Born at 3:05 p.m. I was amazed that he was so big!! Everyone in the delivery room was very impressed with his size and responses. He'd have weighed 10 pounds if he had not been born until 04/08!! No one has any idea what was happening with his heart. UPDATE!!! The decels are still happening and the amniotic fluid went from 14 to 7 overnight. Kelly is scheduled for a C-section at 2:30. We're sitting here waiting for them to come do the epidural. I just drove from Hiram (Ridge Road) to Nothside Hospital. I went Ridge Road to 92 through Douglasville. It was slippery in spots. I kind of slid on the ramp from Fairburn Road to I-20. People were flying on I-20. 285 is fine.

I went to see my daughter after I got off work. The decelerations have decreased. They did the blood test and it was negative. There is no problem with the blood in the cord between her and the baby. I talked to the doctor on call, and he nor anyone else has any idea why the decelerations are happening. I did get quite a shock when I found out the high-risk doctor is the doctor I saw when I was pregnant with both my daughters. He didn't deliver my oldest because he was not on call. I've heard a lot of people talk about her, but I'd never seen her until today. I really don't know what the fuss is about. She's not ugly by any means, but she's not all that either. She does have pretty red hair.
