  1. Grandchildren are WONDERFUL!!! I just got back from Myrtle Beach with all 4 of mine!!! We had such a wonderful time! It's so much fun to watch them having fun! It was the first time they'd ever been to the beach! I miss them!!!
  2. I got one, too! I hate those political calls as well. Earlier this week some lady came to the door and was talking about a tea party something or other and wanted to know if I had any questions about any issues. I had just taken some Tylenol and laid down because I had a headache. I really wasn't feeling very political. I couldn't believe she was going door to door campaigning.

  7. It's pouring near P B Ritch. We've got thunder, lightening, and lots of wind!!
  8. They just called for a lift for the truck and motorcycle. Nothing has been said about injuries. Hopefully, there are none or they're not serious.
  9. Engine 11 has asked for a landing zone to be set up at North Paulding High School.
  10. Motorcycle vs. passenger car. One male laying in roadway. Med 4 responding.
  11. My sister-in-law used one of these companies five years ago after her divorce. It was not CCCS, but they were wonderul. They negotiated settlements with her creditors. Some she had to pay off totally and some accepted pennies on the dollar. She paid them for a little over 3 years and did not get 1099s for the ones that took less money. Now, her credit is great and she's bought a house. I'm wondering if the rules have changed regarding these companies like they have with bankruptcy.
  12. 3rd patient in route to Kennestone. All rescue personnel are back in service. Scene has been turned over to Dallas PD and GSP.
  13. Helicopter is 12 minutes from the landing zone. Personnel said they didn't call for an air ambulance. The 3rd patient is extricated at this time.
  14. If I heard right, one patient going to Kennestone and one going to Paulding. Haven't heard anything else about the person entrapped.
  15. 278 westbound is shut down. A BOLO has been issued for the navy blue F-150.
  16. Navy blue Ford F-150 lost a trailer which struck another vehicle. The truck kept going westbound on 278. There is heavy damage to the vehicle that was struck. A caller advised that one person was on the ground and another was trapped in the vehicle. Something was also mentioned about a child in the vehicle. Something also said about one person pinned between vehicles - maybe the trailer and the vehicle that was struck - not sure. 3 patients - 1 entrapped, 2 out of the vehicle.

    OMG!

    You've got my vote!!!
  18. I don't watch it regularly but, for some reason, I decided to watch last night. OMG!! I was flipping out!!! That was probably the most intense TV finale I've ever watched. My husband watched the last hour and a half. Very good show. I will be a regular watcher next season!
  19. That made me sick to my stomach.
  20. I went back and listened to the scanner. The officer DID say the child was unrestrained, and they said something (couldn't understand it) about trying to see if a carseat was in the vehicle. They also referred to the mother as DUI. There was a lot going on that night during the actual call, so I didn't realize that she was the DUI. I thought it might have been a traffic stop on another call. I hope this young woman gets rid of this guy. Her child will suffer in many ways if he's brought up in a household with a dad who's into drugs and has a long criminal history. I have a co-worke
