She is one of the cutest dogs I've ever seen!!! There's no way I could get mad at her no matter what she did!!

Does anyone know anything about an incident that allegedly happened on one of the buses on Friday where a driver allegedly put her hands on a child? My co-worker's husband drives a bus and, allegedly, it's been discussed at the bus barn. Allegedly the police were called and it turned into a big mess. I looked on here but didn't find anything.

There was a VERY brief clip of this on the news this morning. I thought they said that they had the guy in custody, but I thought it was from yesterday. The officer being interviewed said they wanted to end it before kids started leaving for school, so they used tear gas to drive him out. I listened to the scanner for several hours last night, but never heard the end of what happened yesterday. I wonder how long it actually went on. I'm going to listen to more of it tonight.

I hope it was a favorable outcome. I haven't heard anything else other than other officers began to arrive when they began their shift.

I've been listening to the archieves. It sounded like a pretty scary and dangerous situation. The call came in at 3:02 a.m. It was a 42-year-old male who was drinking and had a history of suicide threats. His wife called it in. He was barricaded in the basement with two weapons and had access to 7 handguns in the gun safe. His wife was going to use a digital lock to open the door when officers arrived. They went to Law 2, and I haven't heard anything else.

Has anyone eaten there? We were wondering if the food/service was good and what type of food do they serve. What about the prices --- reasonable?

My co-worker's husband drives a school bus, and he said that some of the kids said that someone had been shot. That might just be an exaggeration made by kids, but it makes sense if there were guns involved and a suicide threat.

My co-worker lives in Asbury Woods subdivison, which off Ridge Road, very close to Kroger. She said that there were a ton of police cars, even a SWAT car, at the intersection of Jamie Drive and Shelby Drive. They were at the house on the corner where, my co-worker thought, a policeman lived. One of her neighbors said they were there at 4 a.m. and they were there when my co-worker left for work around 6:30. She asked me if I'd heard anything from Paulding.com, so I jumped on her to see. I'll listen to the scanner archieves when I get home to find out more unless somebody posts somethi

I don't think I could just let this slide. If I'd been going to the same doctor for 13 years and, all of a sudden, he didn't know who I was and doesn't believe we've ever met, I'd have spoken to the office manager before I ever left the office. Sounds like something is wrong. My fear is that he might be getting dementia and make a fatal mistake on another patient. The more I think about it, I would probably notify the medical board. It could save someone's life.

I would be upset if this had been said to my daughter. I would address it with the teacher first and, hopefuly, she'll get with the boy's teacher and get his parents involved He's obviously heard this kind of talk from somewhere and, being so young, doesn't really understand what he's saying. I really wouldn't make that big a deal of it UNLESS he keeps saying things like that to her. If that happened, I'd definitely get the principal involved.

I didn't sign up either, and when my phone rings after 9 p.m., it scares me to death because no one calls me after 9. I have to get up at 5 and in bed by 9. My phone rang about 10:05, and it was some type of message from Paulding County Emergency Services or something like that. It said to accept press 1 but, when I did, the call disconnected. I had no idea what was going on. Now I know. Is there any way to get out of getting these alerts? I would be really ticked off if they rang my phone in the middle of the night!!

It just came over the scanner that at least one officer is out with a juvenile near Harmony Grove Church Road. I pray that this is the boy they are looking for.

I hate to hear this because that is one of my all-time favorite shows. And Charlie is what makes it so good!! He needs to get some help because, right now, he's no good to himself or anyone else. He is such a mess. I vote for John Stamos, if any is going to replace Charlie. Definitely NOT Donnie Osmond.

Someone was trying to break into an unoccupied residence. One of the guys was running through the woods at one point. They had one in custody. Now something is going on on Highway 92 across from Catfish Den. So much was going on, it was hard to keep up. Something was said about someone coming to the door with a shot gun and then something about them turning off all the lights. The houseis the first one on the right if you make a right turn off Bill Carruth onto Highway 92. The two events could be related. Maybe the guy who ran lived in the houe on 92.

We took the grandkids to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City at Christmas. It was awesome!! The kids loved it, and the adults had just about as good a time. I definitely want to do more trips. They have all kinds of different excursions.

The award is ridiculous!!!! But with it being Atlanta, it doesn't surprise me. I am a Workrs' Comp adjuster and it makes me sick to see what people will do just to get a settlement. They will have multiple unnecessary surgeries (yes, there are doctors out there who will perform surgery even when it's not necessary). They lie and try to beat the system.
