We probably left around 7:00. We sat in the back, up against the back wall. I had on a white shirt and hubby had on a coral colored button down shirt. Where were you seated? -

What time were you there? -
I though it was OK to post pictures of a vehicles tag # IF, the picture was taken on public property. Can someone correct me on this.

We went to eat at the place Lady raider posted about and to our surprise, she was there also. We arrived kind of early, like 4:00. We walked into town, watched the high school & middle school homecoming parade. Looked in a clothing shop, and another store. We walked back to the restaurant, it was still a little early. So, we sat down at the patio table in the yard of the restaurant. Here comes a group pf people, we got to talking and they asked if it was our first time and we said yes. The lady asked how did we hear about this place, hubby told her we saw a post on pcom and thought we'd g

They are NOT delivered to our s/d in South Paulding.

Buuuuuuuuutttttttt..................can't we have the option to view it or not to view on our monitor???

But.................they should have told the customer that there were new policies in place BEFORE DELIVERY, like when the customer had called and requested a delivery of the gas. The guys had NO RIGHT to act the way they did!!!!!!!!!!! No need to act childish and resort to namecalling.
-
The only changes I see, is that there are some ads running down the right side of the pcom page. To me it's distracting but, I do understand the CM paid for advertising and pcom IS advertising!!! eta: Oooops, I just took another quick glance and all the advertising is PCOM STUFF, now that's annoying!!! Sorry Pubby but, that's just too much!!!!!

Actually last night (Wednesday) on the news, It was reported as an hit and run. The news person said she was hit by 2 different cars and neither stopped. They also said that the young lady was walking north, just before Brickleberry Way. If the bus driver, did in fact see this happen, hopefully the bus driver can give some information on the vehicles that hit Tamela. Prayers for all involved.

They have a satellite store at the Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville, in the KB Toy Store location on the bottom floor.

We noticed last Wednesday, that there was something being done by the right side of the dry cleaners, closer to the back of the lot. Not too sure if a Waffle House would be good in that particular spot. Maybe it would have been better if it had been built closer to the front of the shopping center. Or better yet (hubby just mentioned this) If they could have waited until the Blockbuster closed up and used that building instead of having another "vacant" building going to waste.

Does anyone use the consignment store in Douglasville, behind McD's?
Mrs G replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is absurd, to say the least. Douglasville also has a sign ordinance, you have to call the city/county and ask for a sign permit. I'm not sure if they charge for this now-a-days yet but, in 1990 when I lived there and had a yard sale, I had to get a sign permit and write the permit # on the bottom of all my yard sale signs. -

Kid to Kid, outright buys your clothes, instead of having to worry about the payout side of the consignments. My two daughters have done this a couple of times but, I don't know what kind of percentage the "seller" gets. The do have good quality clothes at very reasonable prices. I can see this is going to do some great harm to this place of business, it's a shame the city is getting sooo stooopid!! (yes, I mis-spelled this on purpose.) -
I got this email last week and was just now reading it, wondering if any one is going to be affected by this stupid code??????? Kid to Kid is a very good place to consign (sell) and to shop. City Ordinance threatens Kid to Kid, other stores Dear Customers, Our Douglasville City Council recently passed a Second Hand Store Ordinance that threatens the very existence of Kid to Kid and other resale shops in Douglasville. The city council would require anyone selling items to a resale store (thats you!) to be fingerprinted, photographed, and entered into the police dat
