I think she meant pounding in a sexual sense.

RIP officers....hopefully this criminal will be found quickly. ....and met with the same fate.

That is not what I said at all. No one is without sin and there is not, has not and will not ever be anyone like Christ. He is the perfect Son of God who never sinned one time, although he faced everything on this earth that each one of us face everyday to a different extreme. However there are some sins, like homosexuality, that are a bit more blatant than gossiping or using a curse word. Make no mistake, sin is sin no matter which one is committed. I am not better than anyone else. I am like the Apostle Paul when he was "I am cheif among sinners." I am a sinner, just a sinner saved by gr

Marriage is between a man and a woman. Of course today all marriage is seen as is just a contract between two people. There used to be a time when a marriage and the vows meant something. If it's just a contract why not let people marry consenting family members? (no I don't support that) Part of the gays' argument is that they want the priveledges that go with with marriage (which that is all about money). If that is the case then any two people could enter into a contract and enjoy the priveledges. And no gays cannot be Christians. The bible is very clear that homosexuality is an abomina

GA State Law loophole permits teacher-student sex
Vito replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
What is illegal when a teacher has sex with a 16 yr old student has nothing to do with the age of consent. It is sexual assault because the teacher has authority over the student. -
The one of Fairburn Rd closed permenantly. They relocated to Hwy 5.

Yep....they bought another championship. Hell I could win too if I bought every type A free agent in the offseason.

George was my bus driver in elementary school. He ws always very nice. Every Friday he would stop by Grand's after all the kids were picked up in the morning an buy us all a coke for "pop-a-top fridays." Me and my cousins were his last stop in the afternoon and he would stop by store and buy us candy and ice cream before taking us home. George was a great man and will be sorely missed.

I love Rizzo's on Cedarcrest. Their pasta is nearly half the price of Paisano's and 100% better. The Pasta Riziola is to die for. The pizza is also way better that Sal's ever thought about being.
-
We tried the new Italian place on Cedarcrest called Rizzo's. The pasta and cannollis were out of this world. The pizza was the best I have had in GA. Way better that Sals.

Where Were You on 9-11-01, When You Heard About the Twin Towers?
Vito replied to MillCreek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I had just started a new job at a warehouse in Fulton County. I was unloading a trailor when I saw about 75 workers running towards the break room. About 200 of us gathered to watch the news on a 13inch TV. I remember thinking that our world had changed forever. I knew that it was time for Americans to take a stand against this great evil that had attacked us. I was equally disgusted when I heard what the other workers were saying about the event. Most of them were saying that they would not go to war and would get themselves arrested to avoid a possible military draft. I hoped that attitude w -
Actually. the biggest failures in the economy have been the governament regulated businesses. Such as banks, mortgage brokers and insurers (remember freddie and fannie?), etc. Ronald Reagan helped pull out of the recession in the 1980's with deregulation. The government should have no interest in private business, look at what is happening now.

When I was a kid I used to mix mashed potatos, mac&cheese and corn together, I still do sometimes. KFC stole my idea and added chicken, those bastards.

I think all forcible child sex crimes should be prosecuted by the US Attorney's office. Federal judges give out long sentences and in most cases you have to served 98% of the sentence in prison.
-
The problem is not in the actual laws, it is in the application of them. Judges have complete descretion over sentencing unless the state legislature has set a minimum mandatory sentence. Even then the Judge can give probation for the whole sentence. There are many factors involved as to why the drug dealer got more time than the child rapist, but none of them truly make sense. One problem is that some judges have their "pet-peeve" crimes and will give out a harsher sentence even if he/she does not for more severe charges. It happens all the time. Here is Paulding County, though, it

filing a complaint against a business that continues to call
Vito replied to Mama Carol's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Ask them if they know Jesus Christ as their personal saviour. That always makes them hang up and will probably never call again. -
The only reason they have a city charter is so they could issue a liquor license to their bars.
-
Yep. The county gets no revenue out of it. Local commerce in the City of Dallas will improve, but this does nothing for the county financially.

Swimming hole near the Polk County border? Is it clean?
Vito replied to gtfamily's topic in RECENT TOPICS
It is VFW Park and I think it is called Lake Buchanan. It is cheap and clean. -
A little thing called the Constitution was. It has worked out pretty well.
-
No. The media will cover this nonstop. All the while real news goes largely unreported. For instance, Congress is set to pass yet another massive spending bill to fund global warming research. Jackson could not have died at a better political time for liberals.

Small children everywhere breathed a sign of relief today.

I think it would be foolish for the county to spend money on fireworks when there is a $6.5 million shortfall in the budget and the very real possibly of more layoffs. It would be kinda like pushing a $3.5 trillion health care plan when the nation is out of money and borrowing from China.

I loved the Kimmer! He was just an average guy who happened to have a radio show. He was hilarious.
