  1. And I still wanna know what changed your mind about her. Nosy Nellies & Nosy Nates R Us
  2. DOH! I kept thinking...what am I missing? Dorks R Us
  3. I'm guessing you are correct. Only one of the people I know with prestige tags is keeping them. The others have or will be turning them in for regular tags. Morons.
  4. Saw it in the AJC a few days ago...let me find the linky. Here 'tis...from Oct. 4: http://www.ajc.com/news/child-molester-rapist-gets-659764.html :angry2: :angry2:
  5. Ah. Was it her personality that turned you off?
  6. Or you could just set your browser settings not to keep any history. Just sayin'. There's a YouTube video for that. Seriously. I haven't even finished converting my VHS collection to DVD. These had to have been written by a guy.
  7. DirecTV happy customer here as well. Had them for 7 1/2 years so far and would NEVER go back to cable.
  8. 2003. Scratched her husband's arm trying to get her cell phone away from him. Apparently messy divorce; charges dropped.
  9. Good. Although, since that follows the 11yo with the gun at school, the kid arrested for posting threats on his FB page, the dude convicted for raping his own daughter over a period of several years, Glenn Richardson, the Silver Comet Trail murderer, etc., I sorta wish we'd stay out of the news for a little while. At least the bus that overturned wasn't here.
  10. No I've never seen that show. I happen to be the boss of two very loving pitbulls. Is that sort of like being the boss of a chihuahua? I love pit bulls. Seriously...I hate that they have such a bad rep. BTW - what does your siggy mean?
  11. hahahahahahahaha Good one!
  12. Believe me, BTDTGTTS. What a good daughter you are, and I'm very thankful you have two siblings to help. I also have two siblings, but one is in NE TN and the other is local but (when we were going through a five-year-long ordeal with my father before he passed away) was having just the very BEST mid-life crisis ever and couldn't be bothered with little ol' us. God love her. PS - EWWWWWWWWWWWW to the picture of Hefner.
  13. Some other poster's siggy used to say "My anger management class is really starting to piss me off." hahahahahaha I totally agree with you, though, CE. I would have been irked as well. What a smart-arse comment! I'd have been tempted to tell them that oops what was I thinking, I really did mean to go to McD's instead and just drive off. (Although in reality, I don't think quickly on my feet - so to speak - and it would have been two hours later that I thought of how I really wanted to respond.) BTW - is Martin's that dinky place over at the 120 end of E. Paulding?
  14. If your batteries aren't dead and your tires aren't flat. Nothin' like a little optimism.
  15. I couldn't agree more. I applaud the OP for her service to the county, and I know it did take a lot of effort. I also appreciate your honest in the original post. Honesty I can deal with even if I don't agree (and actually I value honesty above most every other characteristic). Stupidity and dishonesty I cannot tolerate.
  16. hahahahahaa And you said "okry" right! hahahahaa
  17. Most folks I know who have different names from their children don't use their former name. I guess it just sort of seemed to me like she used it for political recognition. Edited to add that this also is a nit, and neither this nor the arrest is not why I'm not voting for her.
  18. OHMYGOD!!! You communist Nazi yankee! If you weren't about to drop a baby, you'd be pummeled by chunks of cornbread and drenched in sweettea (one word).
  19. My mother (a breast cancer survivor) was told by her oncologist that a cyst/whatever with pain was generally not cancerous. I don't mind all the pink stuff, but I do not support Susan G. Komen Foundation because they are partnered heavily with Planned Parenthood. And yes, I've had a discussion with SGK's medical director about how it's all about women's health, blah blah, but the fact is that this means money can then be used by PP for other things. Personal conviction...just sayin'. I support breast cancer research through American Cancer Society.
  20. Take the rest of the day off, go home and sit in a dark room with a glass of brandy (only one) and have a good cry. Then, curl up on the sofa with an afghan and an old favorite movie.
  21. I'm liking this show pretty well. I really like that it's shot on location, which I didn't know before Go Blue! told us. Two things of interest to me: a) I find Michael Imperioli strangely hot. 2) I have visited 46 of the 50 states as well as Puerto Rico, and most of the major cities in the country ('cept LA). I love NYC and I like Dallas, but other than that, meh. I am a Southerner all the way to the bone, but I think Detroit looks like a very interesting town. I've been reading for several years about the communities being the way they are portrayed in this show, and it's just i
  22. Bless your heart. I think you will be fine, and I have never heard anything but good things about Northside. It just seems like some people feel obligated to spread as much misery as they possibly can. Our next-door neighbor growing up told her husband one time, "Ralph, your ankles (they were swollen) look just like your Daddy's did the night he died." Alrighty, then. Why don't you just give me a paper cut and squeeze lemon juice into it already? I will pray that you and bambino have a very nice experience and that you are both home happy and laughing this weekend. And that 12
