  1. I was wondering about him when I was re-reading the story earlier. Poor guy.
  2. hahahaa Great encouragement for my sister, though, who is bringing up her INCREDIBLY strong-willed 4yo nephew whose father died when he was 1. Yours is a sweet story...God bless your mom.
  3. That is hilarious. HAHAHAHAHA I can just see her tiny little self crawling away all mad-like. HAHAHAHAHAHAA Bless your heart. This, too, shall pass. (Saith the person who hasn't any children, and who isn't sorry about that at all. )
  4. OK, my head just exploded. I am going to make my voice heard until they are sick and well tired of me. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP.
  5. Yes, ma'am, they are. I believe surepip said elsewhere that they can't file a contempt motion (or whatever you call it) for a few more days.
  6. Here's an idea - simultaneous foreclosures on both the Taj Mahal and the lawyers' offices. HEH :guffawingatthementalpicture:
  7. HAHAHA You know, a stunt like that just might get the media's attention. ESP. if we all knew about it in advance and were standing in the parking lot with mean antagonistic strongly worded signs cheering on the Pipster and his attorney. Heh heh...
  8. That would be a sight...I would go stand in the parking lot and cheer. Hey - ask your attorney about it. That couple in FL foreclosed on that BoA branch after they wouldn't pay the judgment against them.
  9. Just a crazy guess here, but maybe because it happened in England?
  10. Dude. You get a cookie for persistence.
  11. Awesome! I should give myself another -1 just to boost my street cred.
  12. OK, I had to laugh at "toots". But here is something I just read about that apparently came out late last week about Hezbollah aligning themselves with the cartels in Mexico. SKEERY STUFF. http://www.businessinsider.com/lulzsec-leak-reveals-terrifying-ties-between-hezbollah-and-mexicos-drug-cartels-2011-7
  13. WAY. I hear that insiders think James (son who mishandled this from the get-go) will have to depart, and Rupert may have to step aside as well. BUT the company is a very well-regarded company, and he is a very smart and bold man (ex: he shut down the best-selling tabloid in GB over this). He may just make it. We shall see.
  14. Correct...stupidity never learns when to quit (the murdered girl's voice mail was what brought them down). And I've heard of it for a very long time as well. I just haven't noticed any media here too worried about looking too gleeful over Rupert's demise.
  15. hahaahahahahahaahahahahahaahaaaa
  16. Well. Maybe I won't slap you this time. :sigh: Lord, he was awful.
  17. I did know this, and am not really sorry. But be that as it may, excellent history overview. I am a history novice (having hated it in school but absorbing some interest in it from both parental units and several total geek history friends...didn't larn none in skule 'cause I went to publik skule whar th' histry wuz taught by coaches). So I'm just now learning what many have known for a long time.
  18. I like you, gator, but you get a slap with a rotten banana peel for making me think of Jimmah Cahtah. Dammit.
  19. Very interesting. A question for an anthropologist, no doubt, but I wonder what would spur them to make such a move? And how does this rigidity affect their inaction against the corruption in government and crime in cartels?
  20. I've never been to this place, although I've heard it's good. Worth a try, huh? As my 4yo nephew says, I'M HUNGARY!!!
