We wrap it up with a bow and practice tossing it down the chimney. The family really bonds during this time and we finish the day with a nice Turkey/dressing hash.

I agree. Not judging an entire nation but these factions from both sides tend to always create division and hostility towards others. I've gotten distracted before and have made comments to those not necessarily involved but sympathizing with this group in particular. I guess each individual needs to focus more on the task at hand and get distracted by the extremes.

I agree. I'm concerned how our communities can work together if this extreme nonsense gains traction. Even from the other side. I'm not condoning any gov't curving of education or freedom of speech and thought but I don't see where this can go anywhere positive.

I went through some old topics started a while back. Some surprised me. I didn't know that mods were able to give there opinions on topics. Maybe my thoughts should read "Should they be giving a + or - opinions on any post". I know they give mayberries and monitor other things but this seemed a little more. Just a thought that means absolutely nothing to my posts but just a "revelation" I didn't even think about before. No biggie but what are your thoughts?

Sorry about that Jerry. I'm not looking for a political argument from either side. I am concerned how we as a community move to agreements if there is a widening gap on how we are to live. Some have posted graphs on wealth but I'm looking at this from a social aspect. That's why I posted here in this forum. It's tough to not lean political on this one but this is also a major social issue as well. I ask the mods to give this one a little leniency and see if we can do it.

How can we come to agreeable conclusions to survive and prosper when this kind of thinking is running rampant?
