Not a problem at all. I really hate you are having issues with them because I rave to everyone about them. I use these pens on jobsites, in my truck, at the office desk, and so on. The only issue that put me in a spot was when I dropped it and fell on the point. Of course it ruined the pen. My wife buys several packs at a time and may be a couple months before we finish it but the last is always like the first.

The TUL pens we've purchased over the passed few months have never given us one bit of problem. I like the precision they give with quick drying ink.

I'd have to say that I'm torn on this. I love a clean environment more than you know. I am an avid outdoors man who doesn't use the resources enough. I love a clean river, uninhabited mountains, fresh air, and all the wildlife I can absorb. However, there's nothing like the city at times either. Looking at the lights of NY on a clear night is pretty impressive too. When issues like this come up, I agree with those who try to keep the harbors and waterways clean but also understand the need for certain products.
